Promises to resolve but still no refund! Out of a pocket for purchase made in good faith
I bought a parasol and base online over 3 weeks ago for approx £160 and received confirmation that the order had been received. The next day I received a courier note informing me that my parcel would be with them soon and they would advise of delivery. I was then advised via an unbranded email from an Aosom employee that they couldn’t fulfill the order and I would receive a refund within 10 days. I continued to receive confirmation from the courier that the order would be delivered which was confusing. Approx 4 days later a delivery came which was the parasol base only part of the order worth approx £45. 1 week later I received a refund from Aosom for £45 leaving me approx £65 overall out of pocket for the undelivered parasol. Despite repeated emails exchanges where I explained the error that they had refunded me for the cheaper parasol base when it was the £120 parasol that was undelivered, I am still waiting a refund and struggling to get a response. Really poor customer service and not a good way to treat a customer who made a purchase with them in good will only to be let down and still out of pocket which is no fault of my own.
10/9/26 - contacted me acknowledging my issues, apologising profusely and promising a refund but still no contact or refund. Shocking customer service and communication. How difficult is it to return the money owed to me….

Missing bolts re seesaw I bought
Bought a seesaw from them. 7 missing bolts. Said they didn’t have replacement bolts but offered a 20% discount and I’ve had to buy the bolts. Could have returned but it was for my grandsons birthday who was desperate to use it. They need to check before sending to customer. The discount just about covered the price of the bolts but no compensation for the inconvenience of it all !
Did buy a bouncy castle too which was fine but wouldn’t shop with them again which is a shame 😳
