Scam! possibly operating in Tauranga

If there was a _ Star rating would fit their profile. This company is a Total Scam. Pick up order from WANAKA address, no one knows of the company, no phone number, no street number. their products are made in China to the worst possible workmanship. Offered 20% refund, not worth returning product to China.. ( they know people want do that.)

SCAM

SCAM!!!!!! You place an order in "Wanaka located store" and then you get the tracking number and realise your stuff is going from China. Its like Temu or Aliexpress shit but for extra 10x$$$$. Luckily for me, they didnt bother to ship my stuff in more than 10 business days so after multiple emails (all in CAPS haha), they cancelled my order and refunded.
Any way I reported them to CERT NZ and Police. I think thats the only reason I got my refund eventually.

Total Scam.

I also fell for the sob story of this supposed kiwi owned boutique closing down and decided to buy what I thought was a NZ made jacket. Well it never turned up so I checked online and saw all the alerts for this crowd and found after doing a google search that there's no such shop called Aotearoa Boutique anywhere in NZ. Today I came across the exact same photo of the jacket on SHEIN (similar company to Temu) for $48.95. They'd just copy and pasted the photo off the SHEIN website to their fake site and advertised it for a discounted price of $89.95 down from $329.95. 😵‍💫 The mind boggles. I'm now lodging a dispute with my Credit Card company so we'll see how that works out.

Aotearoa Boutique Wanaka aka Avencea aka Zealora aka Habitat Wellington aka ...

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is a re-branded website (Avencea, Zealora, Aotearoa Boutique/Wanaka) selling cheap Chinese knock-off women's clothing. It's like whack-a-mole - they just keep on coming. Same modus operandi - big "sale" with special prices if you buy two or three and so on. Beware of fishooks such as: site uses a NZ place name and sometimes a .co.nz domain name BUT does not show up on a Google map as a legit business or have a registered NZ address or phone number. All the blurb about refunds, care and so forth is copied from a western website. You will not get the information you need until you've purchased the (vastly inferior and probablyi unwearable) product which will tell you that you can return (to China) and get 50% credit which you can use again, but a 'refund' will not be available because it is a 'sale' item. The latter cleverly exploits a legal loophole. The items here on site are exactly what I purchased on Habitat (Avancea, Zealora), which have now closed down because they've morphed into this! Some, like Aotearao Boutique Wanaka) have a FB page but when closely inspected, the poor grammar is a giveaway, or it's copied and pastsed from another legit site but still doesn't give location or phone number.
