My granddaughter moved into The Gardens, Dothan, AL Jan 2025. We were told she would get the last month free. Her rent was never late but when it came time for the free month she could not get anyone to discuss it with her. We tried for 2 days with no success. After not paying the rent by the 5th we were contacted via AI & told we now had a $75 late fee! A notice was left on her door to vacate the premises in 7 days! She has a 7 month old baby but they don’t care! I went to the leasing office and they left early! There have been numerous issues with the apt & she was told she would be reimbursed but never happened. Her toilet flushed with extremely hot water for over 3 months! This management company is just out to get money. Customer service is terrible once they get you locked into a lease. Contacted corp office & was told I would have to speak to regional mgr but never could speak to her. Money grubbing people! Don’t rent at The Gardens, Virginia Terrace or SummerTree!

I have been blocked from this site without any reason. I guess I won't check apartments using this site. Suggest that others avoid or use with great care.

They blocked me from their site and will not tell me why! Guess I will find another site to find an apartment! DO NOT USE THEM! Look at their reviews!

My property is listed without my permission representing incorrect information.
Apartmentratings.com is depicting my apartments as ‘unavailable’ because I’m not advertising with them. This is false information and deterring potential customers. I’ve left various messages to correct this situation. No one has returned my call. As a result, I HAVE BEEN BLOCKED from contacting the company.

My Attorney will have to handle it from here…
Illegal, Horrible business practices!!!

This organization has an F rating from the national Better Business site. Even in their information about themselves on the website, they "state' things like "they are the most visited" website for apt reviews. If you do a little research on them, as of Spring 2023-they are the 6th.

The organizations (or apt communicates) must be paying something to add positive reviews or remove negative ones. I tried to leave a review, and the website just took me in circles. One particular apt community had like a 100 5 star reviews. They were all from like one year. Where are the reviews from other years? The place has been in business for 40 years.

If you look at more trusted websites like yelp, facebook, google, and other apt sites, the highest rating for these apts was a 3 out of 5.

Something is fishy here.

Love the authentic reviews. I've used this this site on several apartment searches and have written multiple reviews. The one time I went with an apartment that ApartmentRatings users reviewed badly, I was burned. I should have listened because the site was right.

There are a lot of fake and low quality review sites out there for apartment buildings, and I keep using this one.
