I have the high output fast flow system…

I have the high output fast flow system with a 14 gallon tank, and it works great! I have used it for several years with no leaks, and changing the filters is a simple process.

The unit had a leak in the connection…

The unit had a leak in the connection between the sediment filter and the first carbon filter. You quickly sent a replacement which was much appreciated.

Quality control doesn't seem important

Quality control doesn't seem important. It took dealing with AI twice and 2 phone calls to finally get somewhat of an answer but no apology for having had the filter system go out the door with the manifold being in backwards only to tell us we could use it that way or we could unscrew the 3 lids from metal and reverse it but doesn't matter if backwards. Never explained then why it has arrows going one direction.

Ordered one tank

Ordered one tank, got two delivered. Was told to send the extra one to Texas at my expense. Argued for 3 days to finally get them to not charge me for the one I didn't want or need. Will never deal with those idiots again!!!

Municipalities put all kinds of questionable substances in water. Do you trust them with your health? It's not worth the risk. This product is easy to set up and reasonably priced.

Purchased $250 reverse osmosis system, 1.5 yrs later, after replacing filters & uv bulb, power supply went bad. Gentleman sent me a link to order, $49 part. Ok fine, then they tacked on a $29 delivery fee, completely ridiculous

Seemingly decent products, Yet Customer Service leaves MUCH to be desired!

While it appears that ApecWater has good water filtration systems, I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to try one of their products yet. I originally placed an order for their [ ROES-PH75 - Essence Alkaline Mineral 6-Stage 75 GPD Reverse Osmosis Water System ], back on May 11th, yet didn't immediately recognize that the product required drilling a hole in the counter-top, not to mention the space it would need for the tank itself. That said, I called to cancel my order several hours later, and was told by ApecWater that my order couldn't be cancelled because it was already being processed for shipping (despite the fact it likely hadn't even left the warehouse until after that date). Needless to say, I had to wait until it arrived before I could send it back. Once I received it, I immediately contacted ApecWater to initiate my return, whereupon I was informed that I would have to cover the cost to ship it back. Not only that, I first had to take photos of the top and bottom of the package itself, then upload those before ApecWater would even approve my return and subsequently issue me an RMA number. The most frustrating part of all is the time, gas and energy I had to waste in driving to the US Post Office, and then to a UPS in order to find my cheapest option to ship this package back, which was the USPS at $87. Yet since I couldn't cover that cost right away, I had to wait a few days, and when all was said and done, I decided to send it via UPS instead because the US Post Office wanted to rip the original Apec UPC bar code off the box, and since I already had to take photos of the stinking thing before I could even be approved to send it back, I declined going with USPS, God forbid, Apec saw the barcode missing and decided not to issue my refund. All the same, this was a completely frustrating experience, that, as far as I'm concerned, could all have been avoided if ApecWater would've simply provided me a Return Shipping Label from UPS in the first place. It's even more frustrating also because they already use UPS to ship their products out, which means they already have an account with UPS for shipping and could've very easily created a Return Shipping Label, so that I could send their unopened product back to them without all this hassle. IMHO, ApecWater should make adjustments to it's return policy when it comes to packages that haven't been opened and/or used. For example, offering to cover return shipping in such cases, by providing customers with a return shipping label, even if the shipping cost gets deducted from the refund to the customer when its finally processed. That would still be a better policy overall, especially since ApecWater provides a short window of time in order to ship the product back. The company already has full control over the return until it's processed, so, it's not like they would lose money by covering the return shipping label, when they could easily get it back as soon as they go to process a customers return. Honestly, I was considering some of ApecWater's other products, after realizing I couldn't use the one I sent back, but after having to endure such a rigmarole in simply attempting to return the product I couldn't use and didn't open, I don't know if I ever want to do business with this company again. Like I said, ApecWater appears to have good quality products, but when a reasonable level of customer service is lacking in these types of circumstances, it just leaves a real sour taste in one's mouth, that, I don't think any water filter (no matter how good they claim to be), could eliminate.

Outstanding product and tech support team…

The company has the best tech support group. I sent them an email and they responded late at night with a set of instructions to fix the problem. We tried several things over a few days. Their tech support group seemed to be available at any time. We figured out what the problem was and they sent me the parts to fix it. Everything worked and we are completely satisfied.

I have been in the customer service business as a tech, a manager, and and an owner of a computer network support group for the past 50 years. I rate this group as one of the best and responsive tech support teams I have ever come across.
