Not a good experience.

Not a good experience.
I had previously had new guttering put up by a different company, which started overflowing. That company blamed my neighbours' guttering, stating that they needed emptying, which didn't solve the problem. I later found out that the guttering hadn't been put up correctly. My gutters went up and down like a rollercoaster. I contacted John after seeing his ad and seeing all the positive feedback on his company's website (I have since found out that you can't put a review on his website, so I guess they only add positive reviews). John came out the same day to give me a quote, which I did think was expensive, but I needed the problem sorted, and he said it was an easy problem to fix. The first person John sent to re-align the guttering only took 90 minutes to do the job. But every time it rained, I could see that the guttering was still overflowing. Over a 9-month period, John came out several times to try and fix the overflowing guttering. It was a very dry summer, so I couldn't tell if the problems had been fixed until it rained. After a time, John and his son Nathan started ignoring my messages. When they did contact me back, there were lots of excuses (may have been true, I don't know) as to why they didn't contact me back or come when they said they would. Then they started blaming the moss on my roof, yes, I do have some moss on my roof, and it does end up in my guttering, but doesn't everybody? My guttering has always been cleaned out regularly. So, unless my guttering was full of moss (which it wasn't), that wouldn't count for why my guttering was overflowing. My guttering also started leaking from 2 additional areas, which did not leak before (John & his lads worked on my guttering). When I contacted Nathan regarding the 2nd leaking area on my guttering, he diagnosed moss (over the phone) without even looking at it. Nathan did offer to remove the moss on my roof for £1,400. I was told by both John and Nathan that they couldn't keep coming out "every time my gutters needed cleaning out". Who needs their guttering cleaned out multiple times a year! John even blamed the pigeons on my roof and also the pitch of my roof as the cause of the problems with my guttering. John has refused to come out to my property again as he stated he was already £700 out of pocket on my Job. I paid him £500 to realign my guttering (mid terrance property, only front & back guttering) and he did replace one piece of guttering that started leaking (after his workmen had been) and put in some extra brackets. If the job had gone to plan, I would have paid £500 for a 90-minute job. So I don't know how he thinks he is out of pocket by £700, maybe because every time he came, he came with several other roofers and thought I should pay for their time as well! But maybe if his workmen did the job properly, he wouldn't be out of pocket! And I would have guttering that didn't overflow or leak. I have since had another Roofing company look at my guttering, and it was stated that the guttering has still not been put up correctly. The part of the guttering which should be positioned at the highest point for the water to drain towards the downpipe is actually, in fact, the lowest point (this is one of the places it overflows). Also, the guttering still goes up and down, so the brackets are still not where they should be. The 2nd area of guttering, which was leaking from underneath, which Nathan diagnosed as being caused by moss, has a big cut in it and now needs to be replaced. In one of Nathan's messages regarding this particular issue, he did say, "it's not that I don't believe you," which interprets as "I don't believe you". I am not some guttering hypercondriac as they tried to make me out to be.
I now have to pay a 3rd Roofing company to put up guttering, which apparently is not a difficult job!
