Just awful

Just awful! Avoid at all costs. It took two months for my order of a new oven and gas hob to be fulfilled. Their customer service seems to be completely broken. Two important points however. Firstly, they seem to have outsourced delivery and installation in the UK to Kaboodle who were excellent. Secondly, there seems to be some confusion about the name - to be clear, the company I'm complaining about trades in the UK as Appliances Direct, is a subsidiary of BuyitDirect Group.

Appalling customer service - Don't use this company

Appalling customer service. I ordered a radiator and a radiator valve. Unfortunately I order the wrong type of valve and just needed to return and replace. Was holding for 28 minutes to speak to someone who was not based in the UK only to be told that they would charge a collection fee of £20 to collect a £29.99 valve and then a restocking fee when they inspect the item. I would then get a refund for the rest. I would be charged another £14.99 to deliver a new valve.

Very poor service and customer service

Very poor service and customer service. I ordered an oil-filled radiator, the delivery cost was £9.99. The item sent was faulty and I wanted to return. I'm now being told I have to be ANOTHER £20 for collection and return of the item. I contacted Appliances Direct on Sunday 9/7, and no one got back to me until I have called them on Tuesday 11/7. The customer service agent was extremely rude, kept talking over me, questioning why I do not know the exact fault of the radiator (why/how would I know this), and she kept telling me I have to pay £20 which would be taken off my refund, or arrange delivery myself at my own cost. I will never use this company again and I strongly suggest you dont either if this is how they treat customers.

Great customer service

Order a Kamado BBQ and two tvs from them and both have been delivered on time and great customer service when we had an issue with one of the TVs . They collected it and sent a new one as it was an issue with the tv

Awful customer service.

Awful customer service.

We have ordered a washing machine for a next day delivery with an extra service to allow the delivery driver to disconnect the old machine, recycle it and install the new machine.
The following day a chap which couldn’t care less that my partner had a crying 2 months old baby in the background attended the delivery and immediately dismissed the fact that they are not insured to disconnect current appliances despite Applicancesdirect charging us for that service nor informing us that we need to do anything. Furthermore the chap advised that we should disconnect and that they will re-deliver the following day, no confirmation was provided and we in good faith thought that it will be re-delivered.
The following day when we phone the customer service team we have been told that the next delivery day is 7 days later. There has been no remorse or sympathy towards the process, the website did not get updated at all and for two days it shown that the product has been delivered.

Broken AC after three days!!

Bought a portable AC unit from Appliances Direct. Day three and it’s just lost all power. No lights on, nothing. Upon further inspection the brand (Unoovo) doesn’t appear to be legit. Their websites don’t work and they have barely any presence online. I will be requesting a full refund in the morning.

Bought a induction hob that come faulty
now 6 weeks without being able to properly cook
supplier send me to Manufacture who isn't able to resolve the issue
