Do not trust them - they are not in your corner
They come across as very knowledgeable and seem trustworthy. Initially perhaps this was the case.
But more recently they started pushing more and more random investment opportunities that sat outside what I would consider their main vertical.
I want to speak specifically about the 79th Group. I was sold a fully property backed investment. As solid as they come. With the UKs largest private landlords. Each asset is ring fenced.
Shockingly, it has recently transpired that there are no assets, the security trustee did nothing to protect investor money. All the money has gone somewhere overseas.
The part that cuts the most - over the loss of money and the broken trust - is that APW were receiving up to 20% marketing kickback on 1 year loans notes. This means that they made lots money with no risk than the investors that risked everything.
To add salt to the wound - APW are also filing a claim against the administrators for some unpaid commissions!
Do not touch anyone at APW with a barge pole.
