If you want a company that doesn’t care about the quality of work Arc One Group Ltd are the ones you want.

They fitted my solar system and did not care about the electrical standards (they fitted a 4mm cable instead of a 10mm) no electrical certification given. Their work fell to bits after a week, and again three days after they had repaired it. They also did not follow the MCS standards. This was investigated by the NICEIC (also we had a site inspection), the NICEIC told Arc One they need to rectify the issues, however they didn’t bother. The NICEIC removed them from the MCS and their own register. I waited for the NICEIC to fully investigate before posting my review so my date reflects the NICEIC final response. Avoid

We just had received an inspection by a different company as they never come to do our yearly inspection. On the inspection they found we had different panels installed to what were sold. Not happy at all as there is a big price difference. They have also lost their MCS Certification

I was the manager of Arc one and Managed the Arc One Peterborough Branch. I am currently taking the Company to court over unpaid commission/Salary which I have been pursuing for 18 months. I am not the only staff member to be doing this. The company is in serious financial difficulties and one of the directors Liam is suing ARC One over this, I will upload proof of all this tomorrow across all reviewing platforms. Avoid at all costs.

I had the pleasure of having a team install 20 solar panels, a battery, and an inverter at my property in October 2022. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Not everything went smoothly, however the team at Arc-One persevered and got everything right in the end.
The installation teams work hard, are tidy, courteous and careful. The backoffice teams are informative and professional. Even the boss calls to check I am happy.
It all just felt like proper old fashioned good service from a well run company. Many thanks guys.

Fabulous experience from start to finish.
Before I committed to spending a penny, Lee spent loads of time on the phone answering all my tedious questions about G98/G99s, DNOs, inverters, bird proofing, and plenty more. He was open to negotiation on the system I eventually purchased & open and honest about the pitfalls. Since the install, he has continued to be available to answer questions more specific to my system. You hear lots of awful stories about companies who do not deliver on their promises and disappear as soon as they have your money but Arc One is certainly one the good ones.
My install date was pencilled in subject to DNO approval as soon as the deposit was paid. The date was kept, the install went as planned over a day and a half and the scaffolding was removed within a week of completion. Every person who worked on the install was polite, knowledgeable, and happy to discuss any issues or questions I had. Super company to work with.

I recently had Arc1 install a 5kW solar and 13kWh battery storage system along with a Zappi 2 charger.

The quote maybe wasn’t the cheapest I had, but I must admit you get what you pay for, the products are amazing, and the install a very neat and professional job.

The guys that fitted the system were very knowledgable, they even laid the cable from the house under the patio into garage.

Also I must say Lee and the girls in the office are always there for support, from the moment of quotation to aftercare service they have always been straight and honest and normally respond same day.

I would highly recommend giving these guys a call before committing to anyone else.

I commissioned Arc-One for my Solar PV installation late last year and got the installation done in March this year. At every step of the process, Arc-One have provided exceptional customer service.My installation has gone perfectly and is generating. Their engineers were great and were extremely tidy I strongly recommend Arc-One for anyone interested in Solar PV installs.
While my dealings with every one of their staff has been fantastic, Lee Barsby has gone above and beyond.

Both, Liam & Lee provided honest views to the right set up for my house and never pressured me in making a decision. I recently had Arc One install solar panels on my house, and it was a great experience. I chose Arc One because their quote was highly competitive, offering excellent pricing compared to others in the area, but also because they quickly gained my trust during our phone calls as they seemed knowledgeable, genuine, and not overly pushy trying to sell their product. Within a few weeks, the solar panels were installed. The installation team was prompt, efficient, and pleasant - within a day the system was up and running.

Initially I wasn’t thinking of solar panel systems, until a neighbour asked for access to garden for Thor installation, I always thought it to 15-20 yes to get investment back, this is not the case now,
I spoke to arc’s salesmen , very helpful and professional, gave good advice , on what type of installation best suited me,
A couple of weeks later, there fitters were , installing the system, very professional install and on time, and knowledgeable( I’m a retired engineer, so can be very critical, but no need) they even were able to increase the fit , as I gave them short notice, to enhance the system.
The system is fitted and functioning, just as , what was promised.
So far looks like a sound investment, the sales and admin side , have been helpful with my questions I’ve asked about initial set up, using the app etc

After a few very positive phone calls from Arc1, they seem to have got things together there end and have come up on top again.

Customer service - spot on.
Installation crew - spot on.
Aftercare - spot on.

I wanted some additions made to my system and checks done to the original panels. They were straight out the following week, follow-up calls checking if I was happy with the service and to top it off they even replaced a previously broken tile I didn't know about.

I do believe they have dramatically improved and exceeded my previous expectations. I will be reccomending you. Thank you Arc1.

After having my solar panels and battery installed by what I must say a very professional and polite install team all was well until we had a new broadband router installed and so the password and address naturally changes!

The app installed now won’t connect to the inverter and so I can’t see what’s going on with the panels. I’m not digitally minded so I need help….

After multiple calls now going on since October one person. The only thing I can do is resort to writing about my experience with this company’s after-sales care being so absolutely poor, it’s frustrating.
