THE hidden gem in the movie/games merchandise world.
"Arcane" means "Known or understood by only a few" according to the homepage for this company. My fear is that if they became too well known the brand would suffer from overexposure but I wanted to leave a review anyway!
This site sells (predominantly) T-shirts & other film & video game clothing/accessories with original artwork (all designs are created by Arcane) depicting brands, quotes & iconic images without just being a shirt of the DVD/game cover. They're subtle & only other fans of the same games or films will recognise the references in many cases. These shirts are also produced in limited numbers (150 seems to be the average) so make a nice talking point when someone recognises the reference or image but has never seen any of Arcane's work before!
The boring stuff -
My order was placed on a weekend & received midweek.
Their standard shirts (they do offer an "upgrade" to a "softer, thinner and altogether more luxurious tee") are Gildan ultra cotton which as they state, are "loose fit" so judge your size accordingly.
Prices are fair, particularly given the limited nature of the product.
I contacted their customer services as they run a loyalty programme which I hadn't spotted when ordering & had an email to say I'd had points credited against my account in less than an hour!
As you'll see from this review, I really can't recommend Arcane enough for some truly original design/clothing...but please don't tell everyone or there won't be enough to go around!
