Systems Programmer
By coincidence I'd been explaining to Joanne what a Systems Programmer does only a couple of weeks before a role came up. (The nuts and bolts layers are being overwhelmed by activities much higher up the stack these days.) She was very helpful and supportive throughout the process which was lengthened by the holiday season. This wasn't just about hand holding - it was a role I specifically wanted, but wasn't sure it would come to fruition. She gave me good reason to stick with it. I'd also mention just how friendly all the people at Archer are.

Aoife was very helpful and supportive through all the process, securing a first interview after two days of our initial chat and finishing with a final interview and an official offer within 3 weeks. Engaged with Archer for job hunting
Worked with Archer (and more specifically - Daniel), for the past number of weeks in the middle of searching for a new role.
I typically wouldn't always deal with recruiters when searching, but Daniel was specialising in the area I was most interested in, and it made the discussions very relevant and a good use of time.
I was able to outline my reasons for looking for a new role, and Daniel tailored the roles accordingly. Most importantly he did not try to sell roles to me which would not be suitable.
Daniel was able to identify roles with companies i'd not necessarily have considered or been aware of, which ultimately where very interesting and relevant in the areas I was looking. He helped me find roles i'd have overlooked or missed otherwise.
Communication-wise, he checked in with me regularly over the course of the days / weeks of our engagement, and was very knowledgable, friendly and someone I wanted to engage with.
if you are on the market for a new role, I would recommend considering Archer for sure.
