HORRIBLE customer service; Did not refund my entire amount on exchange

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE esp if you do not live in Canada! HORRIBLE customer service! I contacted Arctic Bay to confirm the right size of parka to purchase. They recommended I order a size XS based on my size measurements (I was going to purchase a SMALL) but it was TOO SMALL. I asked for an exchange. They authorized it but said I should purchase the exchange item ASAP (ie prior to my return and that they would refund the jacket when they received the return) to avoid cost increase on their site. Who doesn’t honor the price on an exchange?! I sent back the item after being told I was responsible for the shipping return fee (that was news to me; don’t forget customs fees if you live outside Canada). And then when they received it, they docked my refund $100 for THEIR costs.....what?! This was never disclosed and I find the exchange that resulted from THEIR incorrect sizing recommendation resulted in my paying what will end up being $200 more. I will never buy from them again! SO disappointed! BEWARE! This vendor is NOT upfront on what to expect and how much they will end up forcing YOU to pay!

They delete reviews

They delete reviews. Also another company exploiting our wildlife by using coyote fur, beaver fur and fox. You’d think in this day and age they wouldn’t. Unimaginable cruelty you’re supporting by buying this brand.

Just what you need for a Canadian winter!

I recently got a Toronto model of the Arctic Bay winter jacket. Compared to Canada Goose, Arctic Bay offers a more refined aesthetic while maintaining high-performance insulation that excels in extreme cold. The jacket's features, such as a high collar and adjustable cuffs, are really making a difference. Additionally, its lightweight
and comfortable without sacrificing warmth, making it ideal for both outdoor and urban settings. Overall, Arctic Bay delivers quality and style at a competitive price point.

Great parka from Arctic Bay and great service too...

Ordered my Canadian-made parka on a Sunday evening, and it arrived in Northumberland, UK just a few days later without any customs to pay either. The Charlotte parka in navy is superb and has passed its first day with flying colour when the thermometer stayed below freezing all day. Real coyote fur round the hood which is so soft to the touch and such a change from fake fur, which always looks so nasty. Elasticated warm inner cuffs, a handy inner pocket with zip, four pockets on the front of the parka, good length for a tall lady like me, duck down filled with a 725 rating, 100% waterproof and, wonder of wonders, the zipper works fine too, which can be a problem on some parkas and raincoats. Having had a red Didriksons parka in the past, which had become too tight for me and was not that warm, I opted for a the navy blue Charlotte parka. The green version is a bit garish and the nice shade of purple was not available in my size in the sale. The Charlotte parka carries a nice logo on the left arm and an inner hologram for security purposes. As with all womens outdoor coats and jackets, there's an obsession with a somewhat gathered in waist. I prefer a looser fit to allow for free movement and layering of clothes underneath, so I ordered an XL 41 to 43 inch chest size, even though my actual chest size is 38 inches. I am so glad I did this, I think the L size would have been a touch too tight. Would recommend all women buyers to choose one size bigger if, like me, you prefer a looser fit. All in all the Arctic Bay Charlotte is a superb parka which I feel will get me through many a cold winter's day for years to come, and which cost so much less than the over-hyped Canada Goose brand of parkas and winter coats. I was able to pay for my Arctic Bay parka securely with PayPal and the delivery from Canada was far quicker than I had expected. I can 100% recommend Arctic Bay parkas and the service provided by their HQ in Toronto, superb. Clearly a really good company, thanks to all the staff there...you have another happy customer on the other size of the Atlantic.
