While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Scam site

Was looking to buy an outboard motor but once I checked the business details like address, ABN number and company number it's clear that someone has set up a scam site using details for a company that was trying to develop a hydrogen fuelled rotary engine years ago called Action Reaction Engines. The two addresses given on arengines.com.au are a small rural house (contact us page) and a Krishna community centre (returns page).
All the text under the warranties, shipping and returns pages are clearly not relevant to outboard motors. Good luck posting a 200kg outboard motor back for a return or warranty claim!

He has actually had the police call in the other day. Do not give this guy so called Yusuf any money what so ever. Company does not exist.

“Bought a Yamaha 60HP from AR Engines and couldn’t be happier. Shipping to Brisbane was quick, everything was packed well, and the engine runs like a dream. Will definitely return for future upgrades.”
