Areta Fitness stole from me
Hi Folks, I bought an expensive water rower from Areta in July 2023. I paid in full. I wanted to support a small Canadian business which received good reviews. I am baffled by the 5-star reviews on Google, and the stories of good customer service and great customer support. No effort has been made to deliver the product as of April 22, 2024.
I have followed up by e-mail countless times. Areta and the owner, Dylan stopped responding to my e-mails in November 2023. I intend to continue to e-mail them.
No one answers the phone when I call. I tried calling another Areta Fitness number posted online: 1-888-565-7735. I reach a pre-recorded message:
"Hi, you have reached Lake Village. This building is not yet connected. Please call back soon."
I have e-mailed both the Areta owner and customer support about the inability to reach them by e-mail or phone. No response.
I have been asking for a full refund for months. This is fraud and theft.
I advised Areta by e-mail that I am reporting them to the RCMP Fraud Unit, they did not reply to that e-mail either.
Learn from my expensive mistake and buy your fitness equipment from another company who will actually deliver it and provide customer service.
