Argentium silver is a patented alloy of silver containing germanium, and which is more tarnish resistant than more common alloys of silver, such as those that contain only copper (yuck) and silver.

Argentium Collections seems to only sell the version of Argentium silver known as Argnentium 960, which has a higher silver content than most silver jewellery, and is hallmarked as Britannia rather than Sterling.

My wife's piece still looks shiny like new despite being worn every day for a year, which reflects just how amazing Argentium 960 is, and that this company are selling the real deal.

They were also very responsive via email when I had a tight shipping window. This is my favourite place for buying silver jewellery in the UK.
