BEWARE, THEY RENEW AND TAKE MONEY FOR NO SERVICE

BEWARE!!!My husband and I both had the blood tests done and comitted to a 12 month plan at £250 due to it being vegan and endorsed by the Dirty Vegan chef. However, the food we had to omit from our diets was huge. We got seperate plans which we had to ask to be made similar. We tried on and off for 4 months. I found it was too much food and was putting on weight. Very little support offered. I then had serious family issues and a death in the family. We had no contact from the company for 7 months and forgot about it completly given personal circumstances. However in November after 7 months of no service from them and no contact, they took another £250 from our account. No warning or check in before they took the money. We tried to claim the money back and cancel the plan, but they just said we should have read the contract when we signed up and it costs them money to store our data! They seemed more interested in our money than us. No customer services. After numerous emails they decided they could no longer work with us as trust had been breached. They refunded only half of our money and still have £125 for no service at all. I do not believe it costs £125 to store our data for 1 month, which i had been willing to pay as it was our fault for not cancelling. However, with every other company I have a service from I get reminders about renewal but not this company. They are not interested in you. They have taken £125 from us for no service , so BEWARE OF ARMSTRONG HEALTH AND THE DIRTY VEGAN. I am disgusted with how we have been treated.

Overall disappointed

Overall disappointed. (Sorry this is a rant) My partner ordered two tests. One for me and one for him. No information was asked about me for the second test only about him. The results came through for him about 8 days later but nothing for me so I called and they asked for my email address and sent them the next day. Both results pretty much mirrored each other. Whilst I get there would be a couple, even a few matches the fact they were pretty identical raised doubt for me. Food items like egg white, pea and potato being some of the matches. which to me are quite specific items made me doubt if the results were legit. We paid for the core test which tested 60 different foods and they create a meal plan around any sensitivities you have. But bear in mind you could be sensitive to the other foods you did not pay for in the premium tests that may be getting intertwined in your new diet plan but you’re just not aware you’re sensitive to them. For example it says I was sensitive to cows milk, almond, oat, gluten, gluten free, ALL the other grains, potato, rice, egg white etc. So my food plan was catered around these using alternative foods but because I didn’t pay for premium ( my own doing obvs) I’m not sure if I’m sensitive to the alternatives. I’m thankful I didn’t pay the extra £100 because judging by the above sensitives I’d probably starve to death. They also added oats to my plan on numerous days but oats came up in red so not sure how that worked out. Anyways coming to the end now. Included is a phone consultation and it’s advised you wait a couple of weeks on the plan because you may have some questions. But personally I feel there should be a consultation phone call when you have purchased the tests so you can discuss why you have done it and what you hope to gain. Your results are sent through and then nothing. This review is a personal opinion. I have a friend who done this test and swore by it and I’m definitely in the minority looking at the reviews. Anyways congrats if you made it to the end of this rant!

Excellent service from Armstrong…

Excellent service from Armstrong Health. From the point of enquiring about the in food intolerance tests, to the advice received, to receiving the kit within two working day - such as easy process. Did the test ourselves and received the report within a week to so. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Armstrong Health

Would recommend

I'm enjoying the experience & losing weight, plenty of food in my diet so I'm not hungry, I suffer with heartburn & haven't had it since starting, really helpful & knowledgeable. If I'm not fussed on a meal it's quick & easy to swap. It's worth doing.

Honest review

I found that the report, exercises and food programme are great. But the follow up calls or any help I.e arranging follow up calls to go through the reports, next steps etc as advertised fell away as they were more interested / engaged in dealing with their celeb clients. Didn’t really feel appreciated as a customer.

Excellent value for money

Great professional, varied, eating and training plan. Really enjoyable. Would highly recommend. Lost 9/10 lbs in one month and can see some difference with the training.

Was successful in reducing my health problems but repetitive meal plans.

I was really surprised and pleased at my results. But found the meal plans difficult. Not as in didn't like, but was boring and repetitive. I was expecting them to change weekly or at least have some form of motivation. Also not always possible when working if you're not in home/office environment. But other than a couple of meal replacements that were again repetitive I decided not to continue. My issue was a constant cough which due to the elimination of foods has dramatically reduced. I'm just now making my own versions of your recipes.

Please do not waste your money!!

I have suffered with severe bloating for years and finally decided to try a food intolerance test. I went with the premium one costing me over £200. Results came back after almost 2 weeks wait with intolerance to a few things including gluten. The results were sent via email from Craig along with quite vague information, I had to ask a good few questions and had slow responses. The 1-1 call with a nutritionist was also not initially offered to me, only when I requested, and at that point I wasn’t bothered about having one. Meal plan was terrible, extremely high calories and low protein goal, not matching up with my physical & fitness goals I spent a long time completing. Recipes also included foods I was intolerant to. Due to these reasons I did not even attempt to follow it. I did cut out all trigger foods for 4 weeks and my stomach was worse than it’s ever been and I was experiencing a lot of pain along with my bloating, which led to me seeing my GP. I was told by my GP that these food tests are extremely unreliable, and will come back as intolerant to foods you eat frequently (exactly like mine did). As I had not had any contact from Craig or the company, I forgot about the £19.99 monthly charge for the meal plan and this debited my account. This prompted me to email Craig with some feedback on the plan and how disappointed I was feeling. I received a disgusting email back, stating myself and my GP need to ‘educate ourselves’ and that my feelings and views on the plan were ‘completely wrong’. Overall this experience has been horrific and has reduced me to a lot of stress and even tears. Have probably spent around £300 in total on a company that does not care about your health at all!! Please visit your GP for advice instead. I would hate to see anyone else experience what I have.

Average, poor after care

Myself and husband decided to try the armstrong blood tests as we had read about it and thought it would be beneficial. Results of tests can fairly quickly, my husband had alot more intolerances than myself, so it was great to receive the nutrition plans and exercise plans. we did not receive the 30min phone consultation that was supposed to be part of the payment, and felt this would be beneficial for them to know what foods we tend to eat regularly and where we are with our fitness levels t date as information on questionnaire was limited. My husband found the food plan very bland, and even though he was intolerant to some certain foods, they were on the plan. Craig was contactable via email, but was slow in responding. The exercise plan we both felt, we were going backwards as we were regular gym goers, lifting heavy weights, although saying that I did enjoy trying new things, I would just have to add weight to some exercise to make them challenging. After 2 weeks my husband starting doing his own food plan taking into account the intolerances. We cancelled the plan after four weeks free part, we recevied no correspondence requesting any feedback on why we are not continuing! Basically, good to find out this stuff, but the after service is shoddy and could be alot better.

Amazing worthwhile experience

I am so satisfied with my experience with Armstrong Health Specialists. After suffering for years with frequent bloating and other IBS symptoms and never being able to find the triggers, I took the plunge to order the Premium Food Sensitivity at-home Blood Test. Results showed that I have an intolerance to 14 different ingredients, and although overwhelming at first, I have really benefitted from following the custom nutrition plan created for me. Not only have my IBS symptoms lessened significantly, but it has encouraged me to workout more frequently following the fitness plan, as a result of eating healthier, and I have lost 1/2 a stone within 4 weeks. I feel much more confident in my appearance having become more toned, and more energetic than before. Really pleased and can’t thank Craig and Armstrong Health Specialists enough. My only criticism would be that the ingredients and recipes on the Plan sometimes had sections missing (i.e. an item was listed in the ingredients but not in the recipe) which I assume is due to the many custom plans which are made for clients. However, customer service has been amazing and they have always been on hand to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend this company, especially the Food Sensitivity Test which is well worth the money!
