Al installed a new 4G aerial and router, together a Wi-Fi extender, which has greatly improved our reception as we live in a very rural location. He also installed a hard wired CCTV camera on the outside of the house. All these works were carried out very professionally. Al is extremely knowledgeable and is quick at responding to any queries and giving clear explanations. I would thoroughly recommend him.

Al Bloomfield came to assess our house for 4G or Starlink, as we can’t get fibre. He tested every possible option and then gave us time to decide how to proceed. We decided on Starlink, and he had it set up and working in an incredibly short time. He was polite, kind, friendly and helpful, not just then but in terms of after care, and we would (and have) recommend him to anyone needing this kind of help.

Alarm system installation in our home. Al was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He carried out a survey, designed the system and provided a quote very quickly. Once accepted, he agreed a date and the alarm was installed without any issues or mess. Al talked us through the user interface, explaining everything clearly including the support options available. The alarm system is much better from a usability perspective than the 10 year old one we replaced. Very happy with our experience of AR Smart Systems so far.

Al, from AR Smart Systems, visited us after I first enquired if they were interested in installing an external antenna so as to enable us to install 5G mobile broadband for our house (Openreach seeming incapable, after months of visits, of actually doing anything constructive by way of making fibre broadband available to us).
Al duly conducted a site survey and concluded that its results showed that a mobile broadband solution was well within our reach.
Installation of the antenna was made on 1 September and the results were at the upper end of my expectations. Connecting my antenna to my new 5G router resulted in us obtaining download speeds of around 90Mbps and upload speeds around 50 Mbps - compared with 15/5Mbps on our previous TalkTalk service.
Al is a personable individual willing to do a bit more, rather than a bit less, to do a good job. He arrived on-time, worked hard and cleaned-up at the end.
