Been waiting months to finalise our kitchen order. Interesting that others have questioned whether the positive reviews are genuine. He has tried to strike off the company from companies house claiming he hasn’t traded for at least 6 months. Pretty sure the recent positive reviews can’t be real if this is the case?!

Also shocking how many times he's tried the company name! It's been Arthur Anthony Kitchens then Arthur Anthony Interiors then Stoneham Hammond then Thomas Hammond. Watch this space for the new name! At the moment he’s just taken the website down it seems. Still has active orders though, and if you look at the previous directors Facebook page you will see the next company name. Alarm bells should be ringing!

Do not use this company. Our kitchen remains incomplete 3 years after placing an order with this company which went by the name Arthur Anthony Interiors. We have ongoing court proceedings too.

The owner of Arthur Anthony Interiors is no longer named on companies house however the Knightsbridge kitchen website and Arthur Anthony Interior website have the same showroom pictures, and the same premises now goes by the name of Knightsbridge Kitchens. Look closely at the links between these two companies. Avoid!

He has tried numerous times, unsuccessfully to take this review down and claim that it is fake and has no customer in my name. Trustpilot have verified my review after I sent in evidence. Do not hand money over to this man or anyone linked with him. Do the necessary background checks!!!’

Awful stressful experience. We signed a contract July 2021 for fitting November 2021 of a Mereway English Revival kitchen. We still do not have a complete kitchen. The delivery was delayed then half of it did not arrive and half of what did arrive was the incorrect colour or the incorrect size. We had the wrong handles delivered so had to buy our own or wait weeks with no guarantee of delivery. We never received the £1100 boiler tap we paid for neither did we receive a refund. Blame was placed on the suppliers and the fitters who have all cut ties with the company. We were told items were lost misdelivered etc etc. We were also told that our comment on a you tube channel about this company could result in significant further delays to our kitchen unless we agreed to remove our comment. When they did get a fitter nearly a year after the last initial fit he used screws that were too long and came right through the front of the doors for our fridge and freezer and found out some items were no longer available as the colour had been discontinued as it had been so long since the original order. It is clear they had no cash flow so could only purchase items when they got a deposit from some poor unsuspecting new customer as we were told that they did not have a credit line and had to pay upfront. We have now claimed on our credit card for the outstanding items and fitting and we are due to have the work completed by a different company in the next couple of weeks. However this cannot make up for the incredible amount of stress this has caused and the amount of lost time from staying home waiting for trades and deliveries that never happened (in excess of 20 occasions). We also sustained damage to our kitchen floor and ceiling which we have been unable to claim for. Avoid avoid avoid any company connected to this one. I could go on but I have wasted enough time on this terrible company.
Edit. Very fast response from them given we had to chase for weeks with other correspondence. Claiming they don't have anyone by my name. More than happy to attach contracts and email trail if more evidence needed. Just say the word

Verified as true by trustpilot :) Purchased a kitchen - this kept getting delayed. Then they demanded more money despite contract terms not requiring it. Despite legal action they won’t refund. - Director has resigned to start a new company but clearly enjoyed his trip to Dubai with his family.
Buyer be aware - they are conmen who have defrauded us of our money - next stop the press - do not hand any money over - look at the reviews - US, Italy - they’re fake…

Please beware of validity of the reviews on this company. The owner flags all genuine negative reviews to get them deleted and when he can’t replies that they are fake.. they are not! They are no longer operating so we believe they must pay for reviews, check location of reviewer. Staff in recent reviews left last year. Check the owner who has had multiple dissolved businesses.... Do not trust the company or reviews. We are aware of many people who have had terrible experiences with this company.

The team at Hammondstoneham furniture did an excellent job and were very professional. I highly recommend them. The fitters were highly efficient and professional.

I would highly recommend Hammondstoneham furniture. They were fantastic from the design stage all the way through to fitting our bedroom furniture.

Best customer service I've experienced for years. Hammondstoneham furniture fitted cabinets in our living room, hallway, kitchen and bathroom. Brilliant job. Would definitely recommend. Having my bedroom wardrobes also. Can't wait

This company is terrible and I would not recommend them to anyone. After 8 months of listening to so many excuses as to why they haven't turned up to complete my kitchen, i finally terminated the contract. I have employed an other contractor to complete the work who had no issues in obtaining the remaining materials to complete the work.
Anyone that writes a negative review has it blocked on the grounds of it being defamatory. This cannot be the case if you are telling the truth .I would strongly advise anyone thinking of using this company to do some research first.
!; Look them up at companies house and see how they have traded in the last year.
2;Contact the companies they claim to fit their kitchens for.
3;Ask them to let you speak to their fitters and see how long fitters actually work for them. I was told all their fitters have worked with them for many years
4; Go to their showroom and see their work.
5; look closely at all their positive reviews!!!!!! and look at what they all have in common.
I have sent Trustpilot evidence to support my review.
6; Why is it that when you try to review this company the name hamonstoneham appears?? Is this a real company ?
7;check and see if they have any county court judgments against them
8; Check with Chelmsford county court to see what disputes they have ongoing.

Good layout and excellent examples of the various designs.

Excellent work team, from planning to installation. My wife was happy! The German design we dreamed of for our kitchen.

I remodelled both bathrooms in my apartment with new flooring, mirrors, vanities, etc. Anthony and his team did a terrific job with both bathrooms. Definitely doing my kitchen with you guys.

My advice to anyone considering using this company (now calling themselves Hammondstoneham Furniture)

As of 5 o’clock today we have finally terminated our contract with this company (something which should have happened over a year ago.)
Our kitchen was due to arrive on the 8th Feb 2021. It arrived a month late (3rd Mar) because we were told our next stage payment was ‘late’. Yet nowhere were we given a date to pay it by. Our terms said ‘payment due before delivery’. The payment (now amounting to 98% of the total) was late by 4 days which equated to a month delay in delivery. This was still all before the proposed delivery date of 8th February!!!!! Then everything went from bad to worse.
When ‘the kitchen’ arrived, 14 crucial items were missing. They were suppposed to arrive 3 weeks later but 3 months later only 2 items arrived. In this period we were let down week by week. Once, the delivery came, had been checked through, and then suddenly it hadn't arrived!!!!
We were so stressed, drained and frustrated that we investigated further. We discovered that the ‘our order was complete and no more orders were pending’. We were shocked. They had lied to us for months. The UK Regional Manager intervened. The items that should have been ordered were then ordered on his instruction.
2 months later it was discovered the run of the tall units had been mismeasured. We still had doors missing to house our washer/dryer for 6 months at this stage and now we would be without them for longer. The tall units now had to be ripped out/cut down/reinstalled. We then needed new doors. The wrong doors arrived on the next order in October 2021 and again on the most recent order on the 7th March 2022.
We asked for real confirmation/proof of the order for every ‘delayed’ item. We were told many times it would be sent but then it never arrived. We would then be told they are not allowed to send it.
Fast forward to August 2022 this year! We made further investigations again. To our absolute horror we found out that we had no orders pending. Our order was complete. It was stated that they don’t make doors that size-they are too large. But since 7th March 2022 they have continued to tell us that our doors have been ordered and would be delivered in July, then delayed to Aug, then delayed to Sept and currently delayed until now. On 17th October we sent notice to terminate our contract under the consumer rights act and gave them until Wed 26th Oct 2022 at 5pm to deliver our doors. The doors did not arrive.
We will now order directly through the manufacturer as they have been extremely helpful with us and given us a solution to getting doors.
This review in itself does not even cover the other issues we have had (4000 characters isn’t enough). We are in the process of court action. The courts will decide.
I could write pages and pages more about how their behavior was an absolute disgrace, how they made us feel like wrongdoers, and how rude and unashamed the owner is. He had not answered the phone to me, returned my calls/messages in a period of a year, prior to August 2022. But as soon as I became a voice on social media over my experience he called me time and time again asking me to take down my (true) comments. He stated in an email that unless I take my comments down ‘it will slow up the process’ of our doors arriving yet still to this day he blames the pandemic and a ‘Force Majeure’ on the delays. The falsity and deception that underpins them as a company is to blame - not an act of God as he suggests.
I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND AM SO GLAD TO SAY GOOD RIDDANCE.

Went to these guys to remodel my kitchen. They stated, after attending my property and seeing designs, that they would match my budget. Price came in 4.5k over. After some wrangling we agreed at 2k over budget.

Then they arrived with the fitter to see what bits of plastering, painting, electrics needed doing. I was then hit with another quote of almost 15k!!!!! On top of the original dry fit quote. As soon as I saw this (I have building experience) I realised these guys were making money on the fit and no longer felt i could trust them. I asked for my deposit back, which was given before this ridiculous fitting quote. I was told it wouldn't be given back even though the contract states 75% of deposit is due back.
I'm still waiting for this deposit and have started a small claims case against these guys.

All the while the company have threatened me with legal proceedings because of this review (which was originally put on Google, they've removed their business from Google to be able to delete my original review!).

Let's see how long before they remove themselves from trustpilot.

Update: this company is now trying, very hard, to remove this review. Trustpilot have asked me twice to provide evidence for my review (which I did) after Arthur Anthony have queried my post. As you can see, my review is still up and so trustpilot are happy with it. I'm still waiting to get my money back.
Noticed other negative reviews are under review: these guys trying hard to hide their mistakes.
Also checked out their positive reviews. Funny how some are duplicated and the "posters" have reviewed the same products "buy bullion", "euro knife", "Renugen" and "diamond hands moving and storage NYC", that's right, a NEW YORK removals company!! That doesn't seem dodgy at all does it?!! Almost like theyve paid for reviews. 😆

These guys have now tried 5 times to take down this review. Trustpilot have backed my review after asking to see my proof, which I provided. So they've played their last card and just replied with "fake review". Laughable considering they've obviously paid for most of their 5 star reviews (which I've flagged and are being investigated). I wonder how they managed to fit furniture in Italy, US, South Africa, Canada and Singapore? 🤣🤣

These 2 crooks have now set up Knightsbridge Kitchens in Chelmsford. Same people, place. Same scam.

Bought a new house didn't like the kitchen.

Looked at many different companies from standard high street names to select specialists, found Arthur Anthony in Great Baddow and we thought give it a try.

We enjoyed the experience from the initial meet and greet to the design and the execution.

Excellent customer care as
expectations needed managing through the entire process with the current supply issues.

Once completed we can honestly say it was exactly what we wanted and definitely has made our kitchen a family home.

Small glitches expected through the fitting and some small snagging issues but all resolved quickly and with no fuss.

I am an existing customer or Arthur Anthony Interiors and I am horrified that these have been written. I am a happy customer who had their kitchen completed in May 2022 and was more than impressed with the product and service throughout the process. I have been into the company to see the proof that these claims are false and misrepresentation. If any potential customer wants proof they should go and contact the company so they can see that these claims are fake and made up. The person in question has already been caught leaving a fake review on another site under a different name.
