Artnet has not performed under our…

Artnet has not performed under our contract for more than a month.

I paid for an auction item on 18 December. Artnet has had free use of those funds since then.

They have not made any material effort to deliver the artwork as required. Despite my efforts to follow up, their communication is sporadic and evasive.

IS THERE ANYONE AT ARTNET?

I accidentally subscribed to the wrong database - the way choices are presented on the ArtNet web site is confusing so that I subscribed to the Fine Art database instead of the Decorative Arts database. I have left THREE VOICE MESSAGES and sent TWO EMAILS in the past 24 hours and have gotten NO response from ArtNet. They have my money, I have NOTHING!!!

They they talk your asking price down and have no idea how to execute a transaction.
Thy recomended to the buyer the most expensive and incompetent transport agent. The whole transaction took several months to complete and was frustrating for all sides.

I sold a piece through an Artnet auction but it took 3 months for them to get a shipper to pick it up. What an inconvenience! There auction business model - actions without holding inventory - is a joke I will NOT be doing business with them again. I advise you against it to.

This site is a complete scam

This site is a complete scam. I bought a one-day pass and didn't get any access at all. Of course I contacted their customer support, but after many weeks I did not get any response. So this is pure scam, stay away from it!

Rip Off

Not transparent and abusive policies. Under every set of circumstances you will do MUCH better dealing directly with a gallery. You will avoid sales tax and not have shipping marked up 10 times.

I paid, but I have nothing!

I lost an action, they found a way to make me win! I didn’t want to purchase the art piece anymore. They charged me fees for that, I still do not have anything but I paid! A complete scam. An auction house with no ethic and respect for their clients.
