He did his schooling from the College Saint-Marc and completed his Mechanical Engineering degree course from the Alexandria University in 1980. He has a proven track record of achievements and life experiences that have let him revolutionize various professional fields. He is a skilled professional in the field of Humanitarian Supplies, Supply Chain Management and Commodities Trading. Ashraf El Attal founded Egyptian Traders Co. in 1992 which is now one of the major trading houses in Egypt. His continuous efforts to set the benchmarks among the competitors have let him acquire the bigger share in the market. The Egyptian Trader Co. is not limited to Egypt. It has strengthened and spread its root to the Middle East catering to the different trading needs. In his 33 years of career, Ashraf Al Attal has served as a board member of the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (EBA). In 2009, he became the President of the Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA). He, later on, retired from the position and became the CEO of Midgrain, which is a trading house that deals in Food Aid Supplies and Commodities Trading. Later in 2013, he joined Fortuna DMCC and served as the CEO of the company. This company deals in trading of commodities like Rice, Cotton Seeds, Wheat, Corn, Animal Feed, etc. Fortuna supplies Humanitarian Supplies and food commodities to the global NGOs and UN organizations. A visionary, an entrepreneur, and an active supporter of talent, Ashraf El Attal devotes his time to model the upcoming individuals in the field of trading, humanitarian supplies, commodities and Supply Chain Management.
