Ashraf El Attal is former President of the Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA), he is a well-known Egyptian businessman. He was born in 1963 in Alexandria, Egypt. He did his schooling from the College Saint-Marc and completed his Mechanical Engineering degree course from the Alexandria University in 1980. He, later on, retired from the position and became the CEO of Midgrain, which is a trading house that deals in Food Aid Supplies and Commodities Trading. Later in 2013, he joined Fortuna DMCC and served as the CEO of the company. This company deals in trading of commodities like Rice, Cotton Seeds, Wheat, Corn, Animal Feed, etc. Fortuna supplies Humanitarian Supplies and food commodities to the global NGOs and UN organizations.
