I mailed my boots back to Asolo for a warranty issue and have not received an email or my boots back in about a month they don’t have a direct contact number to that department and my emails have gone unanswered so now I’m out of my boots and money that I paid for them .

Toe Box Collapse After Normal Use — No Warranty Support

I’ve been an Asolo fan for years, but my most recent pair developed a serious structural failure: the internal toe box collapsed after normal use, creating a hard raised ridge in the insole that made the boots painful and eventually unusable. After just under 2 years of regular use, they had to be shelved.

Asolo explained this as “heat exposure,” though the boots were never stored near heat at all - unless the heat from a human foot now counts. They did not acknowledge any manufacturing issue, and the repair they offered would have cost more than purchasing a new pair.

Even though my exact model may no longer be sold, this one is the closest current equivalent; I’m posting this so future buyers understand my experience with the brand’s durability and its lack of warranty accountability.

For the price point Asolo occupies, I expected far better support.

In the end, these boots simply weren’t made for walkin’ - and that’s just what they didn’t do.

Ive owned 30 pairs of their fugitive gtx, boots wear out in less than 5 months which im fine with, but i recently had a pair worn very lightly that completely fell apart, their usa customer service gave me the contact info of a cobbler on the west coast somewhere and would offer no other support or help ignoring all emails, the cobbler told me asolo uses very low quality glue for soles and that i would be charged for repair, contacted their european headquarters no reply, 325$ a pair and this is how they treat me?

Frustrating Experience – Still Waiting for a Response

This is a real bummer. I’m leaving a low review, and I assure you I will update it if and when customer service gets back to me and resolves my issue.

I’ve been trying to reach Asolo customer service since May 2025. I bought a brand new pair of hiking boots—very expensive—and within just five minutes of wearing them, it was clear that there was a defect in one of the shoes.

I submitted a detailed email with all the information requested for a return authorization number. I also filled out the contact form on their website. Eventually, someone did respond to my email, but after I replied with all the requested information, it’s been total silence—no response or acknowledgment in over a week.

There is no U.S. phone number to call. There is no live chat available. It’s extremely frustrating.

I had high expectations of this company. I even purchased my high-end boots while traveling in Iceland, believing I was investing in quality gear from a reputable brand. At this point, I regret the purchase entirely.

Why is it so difficult to get help? Please, Asolo—get back to me.

Excellent customer service support and good products

I have a pair of Asolo hiking boots... Sorry, don't know the model... As well as several other brands. The Asolo are, by far, the most comfortable and fit the best. I have a narrow heel and high arch and can wear them for hours in comfort, even with the added weight of a pack and in rough terrain. I find it hard to find a boot that fits anywhere close as well as the Asolo's.

I did, unfortunately, have a problem with them. However, customer service was outstanding!

I left a vmail on their customer service phone number and had a call back in about an hour or so... Amazing!

The customer service representative quickly understood my issue and within a day had a very acceptable resolution for me. Not only was she very nice, she was exceptionally knowledgeable about the product and professional.

I definitely will continue to buy Asolo products as well as recommend them for a number of reasons... Fit, comfort, traction, performance and customer service.

Really expensive but…

Really expensive but…. CHEAPLY made. The insole started peeling off after less than 3 months. I inquired about it on the site, they reached out through email and asked for a picture. Picture was sent and they never replied.(Note: I purchased the boots directly from the site.)

Not long afterwards, my laces got undone while walking, I got tangled and one of the lace hooks ripped right off.(That is not covered by their WARRANTY)

I never ever seen an insole peeling away. Sneakers or Boots! It was really disappointing once I noticed. Especially considering the price I paid for them.

And being ignored by “customer service” was the cherry on top. Real disrespectful.

I feel like throwing them in the trash.

Aslo sold me three pairs of defective hiking boots…

Aslo sold me three pairs of defective hiking boots with defective high density Foam under the sole this product is breaking down without warning . The adhesive sole is a defective product made by Vibram. Aslo state they wore out from not wearing them enough. I had two pairs worn inside in a data center. Aslo states don't talk with us Sierra Trading Post Sold them we will not warranty them. They also state sold by Aslo in Italy so nothing to do with them. All of the boots are made in Europe and the Aslo in NH should be serving the customers. I have bought 13 Aslo shoes and boots good bye.

Shoe experience

Purchased $200 walking boot. Comfortable shoe. Had a internal floppy sound in left boot. Returned after much explanation and pictures. Had difficult getting boots back as time passed. Once returned seemed good for a while. Now have same internal flop. Like look and feel but not worthwhile

Asolo Men's Apex shoes $225.00

Asolo Men's Apex shoes $225.00, order # 2426 05 May 2020
Tested shoes in house for 20 minutes, no problem.
Tested shoes on synthetic turf, after 10 minutes walking developed sore point on right foot.
Retested after swelling reduced, same problem.
Had son try shoes, same defect causing swelling on one point on right foot.
Shoe defective out of box; however, Asolo USA will not pay for return shipping nor refund, they claim it is a warranty issue.
The defect can not be observed unless shoe is walked in.
They do not return phone calls nor answer phone.
I should also note that I ordered a size 9.5 shoe, receipt says 9.5, box claims 9.5, yet when looking for the defect in interior of shoe I observed that they are marked size 9. They do not respond to this fact.

Asolo USA has gone out of their way to make a return as complex as possible; the amount of documentation (inclusive of photographs of tops, bottoms, sides, etc.) is amazing.

Summary: defective shoe out of the box yet Asolo USA claims they are not responsible, they refuse to pay return shipping & refund money.
