They will send you substandard doors and hinges missing when contacted they will beat around bush and make you feel as if you are lying wouldn't let you refund put you in a such a position where you are stuck with their bad quality doors.
I would wait for them to get in touch and help me out with at least sending me missing hinges or I will take them to trading standard.

Is anyone interested in joining together to initiate a Class Action lawsuit against John Small?

Avoid this company at all costs. It's gone into liquidation and currently owes me thousands of pounds for an installation which they didn't honour.

The cowardly John Small has an automated email message that reads as follows:

Dear Sirs,

I regret to inform you that Aspire Bifolds Limited has instructed Begbies Traynor (Central) LLP to assist the company in entering into Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation.

We are currently liaising with Begbies Traynor in order to prepare the paperwork for the liquidation process and are aiming to provide formal notice of the liquidation in due course.

Placed the large order in November with promise of 4-6 weeks delivery. After that impossible to contact the company. They sent us 2 emails with proposed delivery date end of January (14 weeks) and got silent again. We are afraid the company is bankrupt and discussing what to do next

Do not use this company! No after sale service once paid over £5K!
Cortizo sliding doors installed back in Dec 2022 - the doors are not weather proof, i.e. draft between sliding doors and taking water in the inside rail during heavy rain due to poor drainage installation. We have tried to get John Small and his team to fix the problem several times - they remain unresponsive to our calls and emails.
- Aspire Bifolds Ltd is also not an approved FENSA installer contrary to what is advertised in their website! This can be checked on Fensa.org.uk
- Door manufacturer Cortizo advised us that Aspire Bifolds is not registered as an official fabricator.

Next steps and would encourage anyone with a similar complaint about this company to do the same:
1) report matter to FENSA
2) report the matter to Trading Standards
3) raise a claim with the small courts

The second time we have used this company for new patio doors, they provide a good friendly service, professionally completed job by polite and cheerful installer.

The quality and design of the doors and the first rate installation team are to be recommended. The initial contact, at the showroom, was very good in helping us to decide on the style and manufacturer of the doors. We were quoted 4 to 5 weeks for delivery once we had paid a deposit for the survey. It took some chasing to get the surveyor on site but he was very professional (according to our builder) when he did arrive. Then the wait. Too much chasing was needed for a delivery date. Perhaps 20 unanswered calls and emails caused so much concern to a point where we wondered if we had been conned as we seemed to be totally ignored. The date we eventually were given was 7/7/23 some 7 weeks after order. We felt reassured as we were told it was " set in stone". We only found out about a further delay (2 days before delivery was due) by chasing for confirmation. Eventually got a new date of 31/7/23 - 11 weeks, not 4 to 5. But, the installation did take place on time and was very efficiently done by a superb team of two. The doors were worth waiting for. Speaking to neighbours and our builder it seems that Aspire are not unique in extended delivery times against the original expectation. Apparently endemic in the patio door trade.
Summary : Aspire Bifolds need to get their house in order in prompt after sales responses and be proactive in keeping the customer informed as to progress. Answering phone calls and emails is a nightmare - communication with the customer is key. Tell us bad news promptly so we can plan around any delay. In very recent past the service from Jon seems to have improved, long may it continue.
Having given the downside on customer service the doors are brilliant, well installed and a competitive price.

Super helpful team at Aspire and great to see the products in the showroom. Turnaround after deciding on design of our French Doors was super quick - they fitted in a survey the next day and installation was around 3 weeks - very impressed. Will be using Aspire again in future. Thanks John and the team.

Doors were first fitted in July 2022. They were great except they had been measured incorrectly and fitted without trickle vents this making them non compliant with building regulations.
Took until January 2023 to have them reinstalled. At this point there were some issues regarding damage caused at fitting, gaps in the frame and an ill fitting rubber trim which has since fallen out.
We have contacted the owner, John Small, a number of times but he has failed to respond.
We have contacted citizen’s advice who have told us we have a good case and instructed a letter but we would rather sort it out with the company itself than go down a legal wrangle. Their letter to them has also been ignored.
Poor communication and after sales service all round as we approach nearly one year since the initial installation! Oh and this poor service has cost thousands! Such a shame as the extension is fabulous and the doors look great but the snagging that could be easily rectified lets the whole experience and final finish down.

Nice doors and windows but shocking / non existent after care service when we flagged some faults to then in line with the warranty.

They just ignored us in spite of multiple chasers.

We can’t fault the team at Aspire Bifolds who supplied and installed our Heritage range Crittall style doors and bespoke window. They look amazing and certainly have the wow factor we were looking for. Thank you!

Product excellent. Especially impressed by the care taken by the installation team putting in bi fold doors.

A friendly installation team, and the Origin windows and doors in our new side extension do now look good. There were issues along the way, however, particularly where the plaster was cut away leaving a ragged gaping 2.5cm ridge along the top of the double doors. Also a few of the windows didn't close at all, and some strip edging was missing. Quite frustrating as the installation date was already delayed. The Aspire Bifolds team were responsive once I flagged the issue and could do remedial work using an aluminium strip. They also fixed the other issues, more or less satisfactorily. A final issue was being charged twice for a rooflight window - it turned out this was another error on their part, but again it had to be flagged by myself and so undermined a bit of confidence in the service. So, all in all a mixed experience, but the Origin doors and windows themselves seem very good quality and the Aspire Bifolds team are at least responsive once you flag issues and follow up.

My original bi-folds were from Express and I phoned them to get 2 additional doors and was shocked by the outrageous increase in price since the first quote with a salesperson who had no care or empathy.

Upon investigation found that Express doors are not unique and supplied by Schüco a German supplier. Checking their resellers found Aspire close by and visited the shop. Couldn't have been a more different experience with an great sales person who gave me a very competitive price.

The the install team were fantastic with two new great and identical doors supplied and fitted.

A faultless experience from our initial contact by email through to installation of our new bifold doors. Very friendly team in the Ewell showroom who walked us through the decisions we needed to make. The installation team were on time, efficient, left everything spotless and were also friendly. Highly recommended.

Excellent Service, very professional in their conduct.. They completed the window fitting within the time they said they would. They left the window and surrounding area clean and tidy.
Good line of communication with the Director who did everything possible to get the supply of materials in this very difficult supply line period.

We had engaged Aspirebifolds to install a new door for our garage conversion. I am full of praise for the Installer. It was not a straight forward job due to difficult angles of the existing structure and over hang of the roof. But Alex is a perfectionist and made all the necessary adjustments to ensure a very professional job. It took more time than expected but he was determined that it would be perfect and not to have future problem. I was very impressed. I can recommend Aspirebifolds as a good company and trust worthy.

A problem with the patio door installed by Aspire Bi-folds 4 years ago was fixed today by Aspire team led by Alex very satisfactorily. We've no hesitation in recommending Aspire to anyone. Their after-sales support is 2nd to none.

We bought the Schuco bifold doors and are really pleased with them. Would definitely recommend Aspire - the service was brilliant (even when we changed our minds at the last minute!) and I think it was good value too.

We ordered bi-folding doors and a small double glazed window for our new extension. We really liked Aspire's showroom and had the chance to see and try out a wide range of products before placing our order. Aspire compared favourably to competitors on price and despite lockdown restrictions, they were still able to source our products within a reasonable timeframe. When installing the fitters noticed some scratches on the glass panels and immediately put in for replacement glass. Within a few days they were back with the new glazing panels and they were replaced seamlessly. Overall we were impressed with the customer service.
