Interview process was terrible The recruiter took a long time to come back to me. The people I was interviewed by I suspected some bias/racism.

Bought a used DB11 for £85k

Bought a used DB11 for £85k
Brakes squeak like the number 57 bus in town
Looks great, sounds like a lorry on braking
Due to track spec brakes that are no good for day to day use
Told to 'warm them up'. Great advise thanks!
Told it was a characteristic and AM refuse to change the brakes to an alternative which they know works, have in stock but refuse to fit under the warrantee
I would not recommend buying one unless the brakes have been changed
Unless you want to sound like a bus that is

Own a DB11 now for nearly 5 years and been almost trouble free. Was 10 months old, bought from Cheltenham dealership, and they have been v supportive and responsive. Some leather did shrink on rear deck / replaced without issue, and the engine management light came on recently so they came and collected the car and investigated. Low battery the cause / had not driven it recently enough and v cold weather. No charge for this. So 2 minor issues in 5 years that were v v quickly resolved suggests a very well built car to me.

Any regrets- no. Great car, a lot of fun, all works v well, and of course v v quick. And AM Cheltenham an excellent dealer. Where I am sure I will buy my next Aston.

Also did a tour of the Gaydon factory (thx Dal). Very impressive. Some beautiful cars being v v careful built.

Aston Martin Birmingham ( Grange Motors ) - Worst Experience Ever From A Dealership

Purchased a Db11 V12 from the "dealership" back in 2018 and have been trying to resolve issues ever since.
Many faults were identified within a few days of having the vehicle and further more issues were discovered as the weeks progressed, some issues such as leather adhesive failing around the rear screen not being properly investigated (they at one time had the car spanning over 3 months!!) which was then later found to be the result of WATER INGRESS to the vehicle thorough the rear screen.
This being a know issue with the DB11 model range and also the Vantage model range, by AM and also the dealers.
The issue was disregarded and still is being disputed by the dealership even though Aston Martin has issued a service bulletin to franchises advising them of action which should be taken. - a complete list of issues can be provided if required, it spans over 4 pages of A4.
An independent inspection was carried out and it was again proven that the vehicle would have been deemed FAULTY AT POINT OF SALE and still the dealership is in denial and the lack of support is a real concern hence the reason for Court action being taken place.
It seems that once they have got your deposit and balance of funds, their attitude completely changes!. Other people have had similar issues with the dealership and they will also be writing similar reviews to reflect their experience at Aston Martin Birmingham. If the option was available for 0 starts that would have been selected, a minimum of 1 has to be given but this should be looked at a 0. The support from the Manufacture Aston Martin was also very disappointing

Be careful when buying from AM Newcastle…

The car was sold to me by AM Newcastle with no Pre-Delivery Inspection (the service manager told me that the sales team did not authorise one) and a number of faults, two of which are MOT failures. In addition, the air con didn’t work because there was insufficient gas.
They claimed that the car had received a ‘full 111 point inspection’ – it seems that 35 of these are by a mechanic and the rest are cosmetic checks undertaken by the salesman when he purchased the car.
The car was also advertised with 2 expensive additional extras, which turned out not to be fitted – they did tell me this before collection, albeit after we agreed a price.
The car missed a service and two were carried out by non-franchised dealers – when AM say that all services should be at a franchised dealer. The sales manager (Chris) told me (in writing) that many cars had either missed or had non-franchised services because of covid – in fact the non-franchised and missed service pre-date covid. He also told me that the faulty aircon and hole in the washer fluid pipe must have happened on my drive home.
Since then, I have had two warning lights come on. At the MOT, the inspector found a shock absorber was leaking and two tyres were perished.
Their justification is that this would have been covered by a warranty that I didn’t purchase with the car. I guess when your inspections and standards are as high as theirs, the sale of a warranty is essential. Don’t buy a car from them without getting it inspected by a decent mechanic.

Worst vehicle ever owned.

Terrible terrible vehicle, experience and customer service.

Having bought a brand new Vantage I have endured no enjoyment whatsoever. Fault after fault have become only too familiar. Aston Martin have refused to assist with rectifying any of my issues. If you buy an Aston Martin beware you will not receive assistance from the manufacturer.

Passenger door has drooped and now chipped. Clicking noises coming from gearbox. Red airbag warning light. EDF warning light. Whistling noises through windows at speed. Steering wheel pointing at 11 o'clock.

All of the above within 1 month of owning the vehicle.

Quality control clearly were not focused on the day my vehicles build was complete.

If you notice faults within the first 14 days then return the vehicle immediately to dealer.

BEWARE!!!

Valk <3

It's a shame the Valkyrie was the subject of limited production, would have loved to get my hands on one. The look, the feel, the 3D scanning fitted seats...what a beauty to behold.

Fabulous car just poor quality control

Dream car but straight out of the factory the door shuts and bonnet are out of alignment and the car rear quarters and boot has obviously had paint rectification as evidence of overspray, rough masking edges and silicon inclusion with paint thicknesses on car ranging from 120-290 microns (all evidenced and reported by an independant engineer).
Dealer (Jardine Motors / Lancasters) has been worse than useless and made the matter worse by burning through the paint in three places.
They also confirmed in writing and verbally "they go through a check process at the factory however a large number of new cars coming through to us will still need some form of paint rectification or polishing/buffing before handover ".
Whatever you do make sure you go over the car with a fine tooth comb and DO NOT just assume it is a brand new car everything will be perfect, because ours is now going to court.
