We are an educational agent. We have many big and small student groups to the UK every month. I found this company from internet. I got the quote quickly and the price was compatible. This morning's group was 31 pax. Our group was taken from Standsted airport in time. The coaches was waiting our group in the coach park and our group could find it easily.
We are happy with Atlantic Coaches and for sure we will work with them for our next groups.

Rip off. Turned up an hour late in a twenty year old coach with a random woman in and two drivers. AVOID!

Persistent emails - I didn't even get past the quote stage before I had enough
I requested a quote for a return journey in April 2024 on Sunday (25th June). By the Tuesday (27th June) I had received three separate emails asking if I still needed a quote - I hadn't received the quote so yes, I did still want the quote!
I responded to an email on Monday 26th saying 'Yes please. I haven't received my quote yet I am still waiting'.
I then got another email on Tuesday 27th at 10.09am asking to confirm my details (fair enough). I then got ANOTHER email on Tuesday 27th at 2pm asking me if I still needed a quote!! I replied to this requesting that they stop contacting me during my working hours and I shall get back to them at my earliest convenience that evening - which I did. I sent a detailed email which at the bottom, requested that they stop emailing me asking if I wanted a quote.
I received the quote at around 7pm on Tuesday 27th June - it was reasonable but I had not had time to discuss this with my partner.
On Wednesday 28th June I got ANOTHER email asking me if I still needed a quote. Not even 24 hours after sending me the quote. I responded with the message below:
Hello again Adam,
You sent me a quote yesterday.
I am still to discuss this with my partner.
I am kindly asking that you stop emailing me. I will get back to you to discuss the quote once we have looked at it in detail.
It does not fill me with confidence that you have emailed me today asking for a quote when you sent me the quote yesterday.
I feel like you are very disorganised as I have received 5 emails from you in three days. I feel harassed.

I hadn't even got past receiving a quote and I had already had enough with this company... I am glad I didn't go ahead and after reading the reviews would recommend people steer clear.
Just don't go there
Just don't go there! These guys are bad news! There are plenty of amazing local coach companies that will genuinely care about your group. Dare I suggest that Atlantic Coaches will leave you all at sea! Or at least up the creek without a paddle! Seriously NOT funny when people are involved.
As a tour operator
As a tour operator, I would urge anyone wishing to use this company to think again. In 20 years in the industry, I have never come across such a belligerent disregard for their customers. They think nothing of letting you down at the very last minute, the coach that I paid for was cancelled by them the day of travel and little to no effort made to replace it … they seemed to think it was my problem to solve. FinanciAlly, look very closely at their terms and conditions on their website. You do not receive a contract and you will discover that you will be charged additional costs at the very last minute for expenses with no receipts that run into thousands…. Then effectively told that unless you pay it, they will not release the drivers number. It’s not blackmail they say, as it is in their terms and conditions! As a company, we lost upwards of 10k through lost hotel costs etc when Atlantic simply cancelled their service. They do not care - Adam and Steve are both aggressive, rude and unprofessional in the extreme. Do not make the mistake of hiring a coach from them, there are plenty of reputable companies out there that will offer you a service in line with the CPC guidelines. These do not. AVOID.
Last Minute Let Down
Let down by this company on a Sunday for a large (50+) group trip at 11am, with the coach due to leave that evening. Prior to that, a request for extra funding was made by email on the Friday evening at 7pm.
Replacement coach offered was insufficient (too small) for the group.
Genuinely got the impression they did not want to take the job.
Will not use again and would not recommend.
Atlantic Coaches--Total disregard to clients.
Operations Manager Adam completely disregards clients and after suggesting i get in touch with supplier to air our justified complaint of a whole family group not being picked up at Gatwick, he now refuses to give the contact details for us to pursue further. It is obvious that he does not want to co operate as he is not responding to a simple legitimate request. Absolutely shameful attitude. AVOID ATLANTIC COACHES, simply not reliable.
