Great cooperation and understanding

John of Atlantis, went out of his way to deliver our daughter's shipment in time for Christmas. It was a difficult county for him to arrange, but he kept to his word, delivered on time - and in a friendly manner. We were very satisfied and grateful for his great service - and understanding

Hello Mr Marsden,

As per your google review please see below.

Hello Mr Marsden and thank you for your review of our services.
I believe you were recommended to us by a previous customer who was delighted by our service on both occasions they used our service.

Our quote was based upon the items shown to our surveyor at the time of the site visit and this space was available on the lorry.

Damage can occur on long journeys despite the packing which is why Marine Insurance exists and while it is unfortunate it does happen.
We did not resist every attempt to resolve. We passed your damages on to the insurance company you had a policy with and you rejected their proposals because you undervalued your goods.

We then worked with BAR (British Association of Removers) and yourself to find a solution all of which you rejected.

The damage to your gates and wall you told us about several weeks after the incident supposedly happened and didn’t mention at the time. We asked for photos but you didn’t have any as you had already repaired it. Yet we still contributed 50% towards the repair of the gates motor to conclude the dispute.

After asking us to dispose of your metal shelving, which we did free of charge, then stating you didn’t want us to dispose of it. We sent this out to you free of charge. Because it had been left outside, as it was being disposed of, the plywood shelves on the unit had rotted. We then sent out replacement shelves to you free of charge because you refused to buy them in Spain and send us a receipt.
The low value of €25 was for these plywood shelves. Before committing libel against us, I would suggest you look into what you are accusing us of. There is indeed no duty to be paid on HS Code 44123900 (https://www.trade-tariff.service.gov.uk/commodities/4412390010#import ). If you believe the plywood shelves are worth more than what we (the manufacturer, seller and shipper) stated you are free to contact the Spanish customs department and ask them if you can pay more tax as it would be importer liable for this.
We understand that import duty and tax can be complicated since Brexit however we would have been able to explain this if you raised a concern at the time.
We're sorry this situation was not resolved to your satisfaction and hope you enjoy your new life in Spain.
