Been using this for a few years and haven't had any issues. It makes my older CPU (Ryzen 7 3700X) perform better in games and thanks to it my 16 gigs of ram are still enough for what I do. (Playing g... See more

I just came here to give 5 stars, what an absolute joy after installing fresh windows, especially getting rid of edge part and disabling windows defender. Windows feels snappy now. I do not like edge... See more

Reading some of the negative reviews made me chuck, not only does it highlight how little people know about windows, but also how stupid some of these people are. I’ve heard atlas before and... See more

Best windows 10 experience ever

Debloated and tweaked windows experience with great and helpful community. Also, it is the best open source windows :) I have been using atlas for 2 years, and it is great.

Boot speed

Boot times (SATA SSD) went from 40+ seconds (20h2 if i remember correctly) to 23 seconds (22h2), installation might have been quite exhausting from the amount of steps there is but i would say it's worth it for the potential updates we are getting in the future with their wizard app that doesn't require a full reinstallation for every update, Great job atlas team 👏

A major FPS boost

This was some of the best isos/playbooks out there if you're really into competitive gaming. Stock windows 10 22h2 got me very inconsistent fps on valorant dropping over 120 fps at best in "The Range"
Switching over to AtlasOS with the new Playbook feature was a breeze in the park. Now getting a consistent 240+
Thanks to the AtlasOS team for your hardwork

I've been using Atlas since 2022

I've been using Atlas since 2022, and it's by far the finest custom operating system I've ever used! It's been modified and is quick to use, plus I have a lot of gaming expertise!

Thank you so much, Syrm!

Awesome os

Awesome os, don't mind the 3 stupids people who writes a stupid comment with 1 star because they can't watch a tutorial... Atlas is in beta (because it's not even the 1.0, it's 0.1) and is already awesome. Yes there are some bugs but it's expected as it's in beta. Beside that I followed each step and everything works fine. Thanks to the Atlas team!

Good soup

So far so good, snappy, low resource usage, decent defaults.

That said there are a few minor issues I'm having and have reported on the forum, and much bigger glaring issues some users are reporting, so install at your own risk!

Fastest Windows modifcation out there!

AtlasOS is just one of those things that are good all round with little things wrong with it. It provides a faster, stable and overall great experience whilst keeping Windows and its feel there.

My old laptop went from roughly 20-30 fps in games like Hogwarts Legacy to over 60 just by using AtlasOS.

Would highly reccomend this to anyone looking for a lighweight version of windows.

My Experience since 2022, December 16th

I've been using AtlasOS since December 16th. I noticed that the stock windows 10 was being a bit slow. Even with a GTX 970 and An AMD FX8350, I couldn't even run something as easy as Fortnite!

When I switched to Atlas I felt an instant boost when it came to the FPS in games. Before when I couldn't even run Fortnite on Performance mode I can now run It on DX11 On high settings with 60 FPS at ease (60 FPS is my Monitors refresh rate) I can run things like hitman 3, Hogwarts Legacy, Batman Arkham Knight and Forza Horizon 4 easily. If I could I would rate this even more but I guess 5 stars will do

It does what it says, and it's a real performance boost!

AtlasOS claims to be a very fast build of Win10, it is like a trimmed down but user friendly OS with the basics and without compatibilities issue. (there are, but so limited you can actually forget them)

If you need some option to be turned on again, you are provided with all the stuff required (.bat switches and other scripts) with one-click and a reboot! It's really effective.

We're talking here about a sub 30 Windows processes and a few more for background tasks while in IDLE state.

Jump in if you want a real win10 experience.
