Atlas Summer Courses (formerly known as Oxford Summer Courses) was established by 2 graduates, determined to share the academic spirit of one of the world's great university cities. We run two- and four-week academic and English Language courses for students aged 10 to 24. Atlas Summer Courses is independent of the University of Oxford; our courses are rooted in the city of Oxford, informing where we teach and the intellectually stimulating environment we create. Whether you are already at university, preparing to apply, or still at school, there is every reason to spend your summer with us.

My son really enjoyed the course. The staff were friendly and professional, the program was well organized, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend it.

The experience for our daughter was positive overall. She enjoyed the course, the non-course activities, and the camaraderie with other students.
There were a number of negative elements though. The food was poor in terms of selection and service (unfriendly staff). There were no snacks available (free or purchase) in between the three meals. The check-in process was terrible. Number of staff was insufficient and not prepared-trained. And the staff lost our daughter's medication which was handed over during check-in.
As our daughter liked the experience overall, we will be interested to do a similar program in summer 2027 though not sure with this organization.

Course content was really poor. Meals were really average (mention apart the fact that everyone was ordering Uber meals all the time, perfectly allowed by OSC -is that a way of making networks?). Care and attention by organizers: null. Really bad balanced regarding ages and gender.
I will not recommend this organization. Last year was with Oxford Royale, and experience was a lot better

Create a more constructed time plan for students, so that we have more things to do and not so much free time. I also find that registrations take too long which also creates more lingering time.

Oxford Summer Courses exceeded my expectations. The academic quality was outstanding, with passionate tutors who encouraged critical thinking and engaging discussions. The small class sizes created an interactive learning environment where everyone had the opportunity to contribute. Beyond academics, my daughter met incredible students from around the world, making the experience both educational and culturally enriching. I highly recommend Oxford Summer Courses to anyone looking for an inspiring and memorable summer program.

I really liked how the rooms were like, in St. Hugh's campus, everyone had their own room, and some with their own bathrooms/showers. That really worked for me since all day through we are surrounded by classmates, and staffs. A place to be private, and having your own place helped me recharge through the night, not having to worry about where you put your things, making sure you don't leave things messy, and not having to think about anything else. The people were very inclusive and kind too. I was able to make friends that are not in the same course, not in the same group as me, and made some wonderful memory. For the money, it could've been better, meaning for example, the food was one of the most un-edible ones I have ever tasted. The breakfast was fine, with classic British breakfast, but the bacon was too salty and the mushrooms were burnt. In lunch, most of the time it was... well quite unique and interesting, and when they brought us salmon fishcakes, it was the most disgusting food I have ever ate. Not good at all. Dinner was also quite interesting, but some times we went to other places, and also being able to Uber has helped me a lot. The coordination of the staff, it was well, my activity leader was funny, he was always holding an apple juice or an apple as he comes out to the lawn to register, and was very chill about everything. Although it was quite unorganized and uncoordinated, it was probably because students came in late to registration, or not being used to how the summer camp works. The evening activities were fun when you were with your friends, such as water gun fights, trashion competition, watching the World Cup, etc. The last day was also fun, but to make it even better, I wouldn't include any lessons and just make the whole day full of activities or that sort, because some of my friends came back sweaty from having to walk back from their classrooms, and only having 20 minutes to get ready before the graduation. I don't think they were really pleased with sweaty messy make up, having to go in front of everyone without being able to be satisfied with their looks. We couldn't even fit the whole group of the OxSC in one room, so we had to separate the graduation into 2 which felt sad, and not really the best thing. Overall, it was a nice experience, made friends I would be connecting after the camp, and memories I couldn't have made if I weren't in this camp, all the good things and of course the bad things included, it was a nice experience. If they ask me: would you go back again next year? I think, after thinking it for a while, yes. I would go there again, only if it was fun as last year.

My daughter did the Creative Writing program at Harrow. She absolutely loved everything from the instruction, to the outings, to the food. She will definitely be going back next summer for longer.

My son loved the classes and the teacher Mr Daniel. But the food and the room facilities were not compatible with de money paid. The food is very restricted, especially the amounst of protein per meal. He is a teenager of 15 years and was hungry during the program. The rooms does not have AC, neither fans to relief the very hot temperature during the summer.

It was a really fun and memorable experience. Mostly thanks to the friends I have done there and the lessons are very helpful, they taught me a lot. I am also very grateful for my tutor who was very helpful during my stay. The food was really good, however the breakfast was a little bit repetitive, but I didn’t mind. The college was had really nice views and the dorms were nice, even though I would have preferred doing the camp in the actual Oxford college. I thank you for this memorable time I had and hope to go to uk soon.

The Oxford Summer courses experience was great. The staff was very friendly, nice activities were planned and the course was designed well. Only the location of the college we stayed at could’ve been a little closer to the centre.

My experience with Oxford Summer Courses this year was magical. The college was very old but still so beautiful and the staff was so so nice! I made so many new friends and memories that I will cherish forever. See you next year, hopefully, Oxford!
