Atomic Wallet is a SCAM

I lost $700 worth of bitcoin to these people. Deposited the bitcoin to my wallet and less than 10 minutes later my balance mysteriously went to zero and the funds had been transferred out of my wallet. I searched online and multiple other people reported experiencing the same issue that same day. From research I found out they had a massive hack back in June of 2023 as well. Atomic deletes any comments related to losing money on their social media and bans the poster. They want to make sure people stay unaware of what's going on so they can keep stealing people's money. Their official position is all of the thousands of people who got their funds stolen simultaneously must have given their seed phrase to a hacker, because they don't want to admit to the security vulnerabilities in their wallets. These people are scumbags.

SCAM Alert

Steals your money by working with scammers... and will not resond to emails. UPDATE: They continued to miss emails requesting how my account got compromised, the only info they could offer was: Atomic Wallet is non-custodial and that They only needed your public BTC address (which isn't secret) to send those worthless tokens to your wallet Neither of which tells me how they removed my legit funds. And if the app was compromised from the beginning then This is still a scam

Hi Carrie! We're sorry for your negative experience. We have carefully reviewed your case once again and would like to clarify a few important points.

Please note that we replied to all of the emails you sent us with a detailed explanation of what happened. Also, please be aware that our only official email is support@atomicwallet.io. We never contact users first — our role is solely to provide technical support for our wallet. We do not offer investment opportunities or fund recovery services.

Unfortunately, it appears that you’ve fallen victim to a scam. Your funds cannot be 'frozen' in Atomic Wallet. Our app is a non-custodial interface that connects you directly to the blockchain. This means no one can block or freeze your balance — not even us.

Anyone asking you to deposit funds in order to 'release' a larger amount is a scammer. Similarly, if someone claims you need to send a percentage of your funds to 'activate' your balance or pass a 'liquidity check', that is also a scam.

Be extremely cautious of anyone who asks for your backup phrase or offers to help set up your wallet using remote access tools like Anydesk. Anyone with your 12-word backup phrase can gain full access to your wallet and steal your funds. Scammers often use these tactics across various platforms.

If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us at support@atomicwallet.io — again, this is the only email we use to correspond with users.

We would truly appreciate it if you would consider updating your rating once you’ve had a chance to review all the information. Thank you and stay safe!

Hi Hina! We're sorry for your negative experience. We have carefully reviewed your case once again and would like to clarify a few things.

Unfortunately, you've fallen victim to a scam from a fake trading company, 'bigprofitpulse'. We have never heard of it, and it simply doesn’t exist. Your funds cannot be 'frozen' in Atomic Wallet. Our app is an intermediary between you and the blockchain, meaning no one can 'block' your balance in decentralized wallets like Atomic.

Anyone asking you to deposit funds to 'release a hefty amount of money' is a scammer. If someone asks you to send a percentage of the total amount to 'activate' the balance or for a 'liquidity check', this is a scam.

Additionally, anyone asking for your backup phrase or offering 'help' to set up your wallet via software like Anydesk is a scammer. Anyone with access to your backup phrase can access your wallet and all its contents. Scammers often use various online services for their malicious activities.

If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us at support@atomicwallet.io (this is the only email we use to correspond with users).

We would greatly appreciate it if you would consider leaving us a better rating.

I have seen this written a few times so…

I have seen this written a few times so I now know it is not something I am overlooking. I'd like to put it out there so that someone else doesn't fall into the same fraud trap and get scammed by these low life pieces of human garbage.
I got a refund from a crypto payment and it was in a coin my exchange and wallet didn't support so I was quickly searching for a wallet that I could dump it into and swap it before putting it back in my actual legit wallet. I found AW and for whatever reason downloaded it. As soon as I opened it I was suspicious but whatever it seemed to be fine. Well the first sign of trouble was that it took 3 days for the funds to show up. So I contacted the "support" and asked them to investigate. They told me the money was not on the blockchain. So I gave up and thought well whatever. Then 3 days go by and I get an email from the company that was refunding my crypto and it said my transaction was complete. So I open up the wallet after reinstalling it and what do you know the 200 bucks is in there! It took me a minute to find out how to work the seriously lackluster interface...and I got to the swap option...So I attempted to swap it out for BTC and wouldn't you know it....i need to have an additional x amount of money. Ok so I try to swap HALF OF IT. The same message with the same exact fee is still hanging there in red. So I push the button to contact support, thinking that this must be a common problem and I need to set something up or turn on a feature, nope. I get an auto message back saying that They apologise for the inconvenience but this service is unavailable right now...ok..After a few more notes back and forth with "support" I started to finally accept that this whole thing was a total scam and I wasn't going to get my money back, but I thought maybe if I add the amount they're requesting for the fee it will help...so I take out my card and attempt to process it and thank God it gets declined for suspicious activity. Which was a life saver. Not only would it have just taken my money but the minimum payment was fifty dollars!!!!!
So long story short, whoever is behind this wallet will get theirs. Im not worried about that.
Theyre gonna run a cover on this probably explaining it away,,,,and placing the blame back on me and making me look stupid. But you know what? Theres more to life than money and the anxiety it causes. It sucks to see so many people lost so much money. But if you're reading this don't go anywhere near these vermin. They WILL SCAM YOU. THEN SEND YOU PICTURES OF THEIR SMILING FACES.

Hi Christian! We understand how frustrating this must be. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we’re truly sorry that this wasn’t clearly communicated to you. Let us clarify the situation.

According to the conversation thread, you deposited USDT-TRX into your wallet app. However, in decentralized wallets like Atomic (and others), a network fee is required for withdrawals. This is standard practice across all decentralized platforms, and you can easily verify this through a quick search.

You first contacted us on April 4th, and at that time, your USDT-TRX balance was 0. Your deposit transaction occurred on April 6th, which is why our agent informed you that your balance was 0 when you initially reached out.

Currently, your TRX balance is still 0. In order to send or swap any TRON-based token (like USDT), you’ll need to have some TRX available (around 40 TRX). We used to offer a complimentary claim service, but this service is no longer available. Please note that the network fee cannot be deducted from your USDT balance (unlike centralized exchanges like Binance or Bybit). Rest assured, your funds are not locked, and you are free to move them. Additionally, keep in mind that TRX and USDT-TRX are different assets.

If you encountered any issues purchasing TRX, please provide your Payment ID as plain text (Buy Crypto > Order History > Copy ID). Please also note that all purchases are processed by our partners, and there is a minimum purchase amount. You can find more details in our guide: https://support.atomicwallet.io/article/62-what-is-the-fee-to-buy-cryptocurrencies.

Alternatively, you can transfer 40 TRX from another platform into your Atomic wallet to enable the withdrawal. We’re not insisting that you make a purchase.

Lastly, please be aware of scammers in the crypto space. Recovery companies, in particular, are often fraudulent. Be cautious and ensure you haven’t shared your backup phrase or private keys with anyone.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out to us at support@atomicwallet.io. We’ve also sent a copy of this reply to your email.

Lost 30 000 xrp on this platform now…

Lost 30 000 xrp on this platform now worth over 60 000 dollars 2 years ago and they have done nothing about it. They were supposedly hacked for 30 plus million over a period of more than a week but never alerted any of their customers it was happening. My monry was taken out about a week after the hack started so they had plenty time to alert customers or find out how they were getting hacked day after day.
I had something like 29900 xrp in my account and they left 29 in my account plus some fractions so when look at account it still looked like 29k, anyway I left the account open with the 29 in it in case there was a way of tracing where the crypto went . I recently tried to log in to the account but my password is and log in are no longer working. I came across my 12 word reovery phrase and on entering this it comes up as incompatible memonic phrase so this platform is just trying to sweep all their past disasters under the carpet.
My life savings down the drain here...

I had $400 stolen from this wallet

I had $400 stolen from this wallet. Ive never shared my private key or phrase with anyone so it’s impossible that it was my fault the funds were stolen. The wallet that took my funds has over 200k in it. Its obviously a inside job. Its a shame becuase ive been with atomic and ive ran a million dollars worth of bitcoin through it only to be scammed by some greedy sob from atomic. Needless to say ill never use this grimey pos wallet again. i suggest u stay away as well.
