Excellent from start to finish. Ann bokked me an appointment to suite my schedule and was polite and welcoming on the day of the appointment. The hearing aid dispenser Troy was extremely knowledgeable,helpful and friendly. The appointment was interesting and the equipment was high tech, i was shown the perferation im my ear in which i wasnt shown at previous appointment with a different medical profession. The appointment was excellent from start to finish and i was given a lot of information to take away and think about regarding my options moving forward. I would highly recommend this service.

I attend at Hidden Hearing with a relative who has additional needs . Troy has been able to adapt the testing process to be able to complete the assessments to meet needs of my relative . He is sensitive and patient and ensures that she is always at ease. The support staff are always very helpful whether in person or on the telephone. A very professional approach from all at the Allerton Road office

I accompanied my father today and I was really impressed from start to finish in Hidden Hearings Liverpool store today. My Dad was a little nervous and a little unsure about the whole process knowing that he had issues as well as questions. From the off-set he was able to get a appointment really quickly and on entering was quickly put at ease, their receptionist was welcoming and friendly and Troy - my fathers hearing assessor and aid dispenser was just everything that you could hope for - truly. He was knowledgeable, kind, patient and clearly had time to answer questions and was very diligent in listening and excellent in explaining. He really did put my father at ease with his kind manner and talked him through the tests as well as the results and his recommendations, there was no hard sell and certainly it was made clear that he did not need to make any decision there and then, Troy was really understanding. After a little thought though my father took on board what had been discussed and opted to have his aids fitted later in same day and the follow up appointment to see how he was finding the aids and to talk him though the care of more was organised too. Again none of this was rushed and each element talked though - my Dad was really pleased he had taken this step and I was really grateful that he was cared for in the kind and capable hands of Troy. He might think he was 'just doing his job' - but he did so in such a manner that made the difference especially in my father better appreciating and accepting that he needed a helping hand now, I am very grateful - thank you. If anyone is unsure and uncertain about this process I would not hesitate to recommend this fantastic store at all :)

Pleasant, friendly and informative.

The premises is clean and spacious and friendly,you are greated with avery warm welcome from the receptionist making you feel comfortable , there is not loud noises so talking is comfortable, you are offered a hot drink , your appointment is on time they play it perfectly and do not rush you with anything answering all questions not matter how silly they may sound, kate the lady I seen was very helpful and informative she did not put any pressure on me to purchase there items which was very helpful to me, this company look after there customers with great aftercare, would recommend them to anyone that asks me .

Been struggling with my hearing for a few years now Had a nhs hearing test about 5 years ago and was given 2 hearing aids .But noticed my hearing was deteriorating badly .went to this company and he gave me an examination by putting a camera in my ears and showing me on a laptop that my ears are completely blocked and suggested having my ears syringed and giving me a follow up appointment something that the NHS examiner never did and said may not even need hearing aids where most others would of got me buying hearing aids I may not need and if I do can pay monthly thank you so much hidden hearing for being such a honest company and would highly recommend yous to anyone

From start to finish during my free hearing assessment, Kate the audiologist at Allerton Road Liverpool branch was incredible; so informative, clear, thorough, patient, friendly and kind.
I learned about my ongoing hearing loss and tinnitus, realising things I had never know about the workings of my ears in a depth that far exceeded what I thought a hearing test even was! The technology was outstanding, illuminating and indicated exactly where my hearing loss was located, what factors were affecting it, and ruled out things that for years I thought it may be. Essentially it cleared up all of the confusion and shed light on much of my symptoms and explained a lot. The fact that my husband was there as part of the assessment offered an insight Kate needed to identify and better understand my hearing loss and explained a great deal about my behaviours and communication-style/coping strategies.
A very clear route through towards my next stage of referrals to ENT possible treatments/hearing aids and how to next proceed was offered and the results were given along with a full report - So impressive and such a relief after many years of frustrating hearing loss and tinnitus - I have no doubt it will improve my quality of life massively to take the next steps towards treatment. Hidden Hearing will have my lifelong custom, whatever my hearing needs may be in the future.

The hearing tests are thorough, everything was explained, and they had my hearing aids in store and were able to fit them the same day.
Before my follow up appointment I was having problems with the Bluetooth connection on my phone, Troy called me and spent time sorting the issue out.
Everything is covered, I was particularly impressed when I was asked to bring someone I lived with and how much of an investment in my hearing we were given, time explanations, just great - Thank you, it has truly changed our lives.

Very simple to arrange an appointment, great communication throughout the process with confirmations and reminders which is brilliant for the forgetful- like myself. It clearly also helps the branch with organisation and keeping to appointment times.

Having had some form of hearing loss to varying degrees from childhood, I had been experiencing more mild hearing loss in my teens and adult years. Fed up by my mid thirties with the anxiety over 'is my hearing loss getting worse?' and intermittent tinnitus I booked an appointment.

I am so glad I did. Troy listened to my experience eagerly, he gave me a very comprehensive hearing test including air conduction and bone conduction: therefore examining the entire auditory system. Troy also did tests with various levels of background noise, plus a familiar voice test with and without background noise.

As a result, I felt as though we had achieved a very thorough hearing test. Beneficial, as I have had hearing tests on the high street before to varying levels of quality.

Troy listened and validated me, without knowing that he was doing so, that though my hearing loss is mild, it's still absolutely a challenge to me, particularly in loud environments and when I am tired for example and don't have as much energy to focus on conversation, lip reading, body language and context.

I trialed some hearing aids for the first time in-store. Hearing my partner's voice with absolute clarity for the first time (EVER) moved me to tears. So making the purchase was a no-brainer.

There is out-right purchase and installments available, also insurance to protect you from mishaps.

I appreciate I have no frame of reference having never had hearing aids before. However, the hearing aids are phenomenal, the ones I chose are the Oticon Intent MiniRITE. Multiple colour choices, sound quality brilliant, they are discrete for those that prefer this in a hearing aid. The options in the app are great, including remote consultation and adjustment by Troy via video call which is great. Hidden Hearing seem to have thought of everything possible.

Having had zero pressure to try the hearing aids, or commit to the purchase, I am so glad I bought them. So glad I booked an appointment. But moreover, so glad Troy was my audiologist. Troy made me feel comfortable, heard, understood and completely validated. Troy is kind, patient and proactive with check ups/adjustments. Troy is highly professional but with a friendliness and openness that encourages trust in the process.

It does take a little while to adjust to the hearing aids if you've never worn them before. I'm still adjusting now. But you'll be surprised how fast the brain adapts. I'm only two weeks in and my quality of life is improving consistently as I adapt and have recently had my tuning tweaked and the domes (essentially the silicone eartips like on in ear headphones) changed to offer more occlusion and therefore richer sound experience.

I can hear things like the birds singing and a fire crackling now. Whispers. Direction as to where sound is coming from. I can hear traffic from a further distance behind me when deciding whether I should start preparing to crossing a road. I can hear my partner clearly, it doesn't sound like Im listening through cotton wool or underwater and muffled anymore.

I am SO happy. But! Most importantly in this review, major thank you to Troy! My hearing loss may be mild. But the impact you've made on my quality of life is huge. I am so glad I booked an appointment and that Troy especially was the person who tested my hearing and guided me through the whole process start to finish. Even ensured to quickly schedule a call the day after I had them fitted and wanted some advice whilst I was getting used to them.

I would gently urge anybody on the fence to make an appointment if you have even a modicome of worry about your hearing. If you find yourself turning the TV volume up, popping the subtitles on, asking people to repeat themselves, avoiding loud areas if you're trying to have a conversation and finding yourself a little in their own world/frustrated especially with background noise when engaging in conversation, it is tiring when you're having to work hard. Make an appointment, you'll not regret it.
