Susan did a wonderful job in “gluing together “ my requirements into a well linked up 4-week trip to Singapore, Java, Bali, And finishing with visits to two friends in Melbourne and Cairns. The choice of airline/tour operators/ hotels was just right for me. I will use Auriel again.

I arranged a Central European rail break through Auriel and found their customer service and attention to detail excellent throughout. Special mention goes to my agent, Jackie, who couldn't have been more helpful, and was always quick to respond to any queries. Based on this experience, I would have no hesitation in booking a future holiday through Auriel.

Our flight to Manchester on 16 July 25 (Flt GR670) was initially delayed because of fog. However, we were checked in for the flight and sat in the departures lounge for over 6 hours before Aurigny eventually cancelled at around 1715. Aurigny did not even offer us a bottle of water. We were then rebooked on flight GR0400 to London City at 0640 on Friday 18 July with no offer of financial assistance with our onward journey to Manchester. This flight was also cancelled. We decided to wait at Guernsey Airport in the hope of a standby seat on any flight that day to the UK. No formal arrangements were made by Aurigny to organise a proper standby list and at no point did I see any management staff appear on the floor in the check-in area. Had it not been for the initiative of one of the dispatchers who tried to keep us informed and drew up an informal standby list on a piece of paper, the many passengers on our flight and a subsequent flight (also cancelled) would have been left to our own devices. Eventually Aurigny organised a charter aircraft for Titan Airways to take over the 1440 Gatwick Flight. This much larger aircraft was able to absorb all the 'standby' passengers and we were all flown to Gatwick at around 1445. We sat in the entrance hall of the airport from 0530 until 1345 once again with no offer of so much as a glass of water.
I appreciate that much of the chaos on 16-18 July was caused by fog and therefore out of the control of Aurigny. Nevertheless I have never witnessed such a lack of organisation, a lack consideration for the many stranded passengers and a complete absence of management in what was a consistently appalling situation. This was a severe embarrassment for Aurigny and has seriously damaged their reputation and the tourist trade to and from Guernsey. So sad and so unecessary....

We’ve had a fantastic holiday in Antigua. Auriel Holidays were very professional and friendly and would highly recommend.
Any questions we had were answered quickly and effectively.

Spent almost 3 weeks touring New Zealand, North Island independently and South Island with an organised tour.
All the planning was spot on where we wanted to go, level of accommodation and timetables.
There were small things we might have changed but only realised after arrival and in no way altered an incredible experience. We fitted so much into a once in a lifetime holiday

Most of the Hotels were really comfortable and all had a superb range of dishes for our breakfast which meant we made a good start to the day. Our hotel in Bergen was disappointing, the room being in the roof with head height beams, and a very small window. Unfortunately, whilst most of the activities on our trip were superb, the Archipelago trip in Stockholm was a major disappointment and the fact that most tourist sites in Bergen were closed on our only day there was also piece of bad planning.
