Ordered from AUTODOC on 4 August. Everything shown as in stock, payment taken immediately.
7 Aug: “We’ll do our utmost to ship it today.”
9 Aug: Order is “waiting for pick-up by the courier.” Lovely.
10 Aug: Apparently it’s gone backwards and is still being packed.
Then customer service enters the Twilight Zone:
First, the brake-pad wear sensor is awaiting restocking.
11 minutes later, no, it’s actually the rear brake discs awaiting restocking.
They even identify the offending disc: FEBI 30554.
An hour later another agent says: Nope! Previous agent was wrong. The discs are in stock, they’re just being “checked”.
Asked how long this mysterious inspection takes? No idea.
Asked for a refund? No answer.
Offered Bosch instead? Yes — but initially I was expected to pay the difference.
Meanwhile their own website still showed the parts as available.
I’ve now spent about 2 hours 42 minutes in their live chat alone, trying to establish whether two brake discs physically exist.
I’ve wasted portions of my life on some spectacularly pointless things, but debating the existential status of a pair of FEBI brake discs is a new one.
Maybe the parts will arrive. Maybe they won’t. Perhaps they only exist when nobody at AUTODOC is looking at them.
But changing an order to “waiting for courier” a status that stops normal cancellation, when the order clearly wasn’t actually ready for the courier feels more than a little convenient.
Buyer beware: “in stock” and “waiting for courier” apparently don’t necessarily mean what ordinary humans think they mean.

DO NOT BUY - A SCAM! I bought a part from Autodoc, parcel went missing (these things happen). Their policy is to resolve an issue within 45 days. Im waiting at 100 days receiving the same templated email that I will have a response in 2-4 days whilst they wait for the missing parcel to appear, the parcel that is lost.. I will continue to push for a refund until it happens.

I have good experiences with auto doc parts , and have found parts for my Honda, which was built in America, so it's not easy as you have to verify the dimensions of the products which I do , and I have found what I require for the most part.
Yes , always a risque but if you have the correct details then they fit just as they should, I have purchased several items and have had good results,
If I require more parts autodoc is the first place I look
Hopefully this helps others which may have similar issues finding parts ,

Provide VIN details or incur expensive return costs
After entering my car details their website confirmed the item would fit my car but the item delivered did not. So, I attempted a return to which they agreed but I had to meet return postage costs. It was apparently my fault they supplied the wrong item and that I should have checked with them first and provided a VIN number! Upon enquiring whether they did have the right item they said it was only available from the main dealer. This was incorrect as the item is freely available from other suppliers in the UK. I only ordered from them as I was on holiday in France and the item is easy to fit. Anyway, by the time I would have incurred return postage costs (France to Poland) I would have ended up with a refund of around 20% of the original cost as there seemed to be other deductions. Big lesson learnt here - if you use Autodoc do not rely on car information you enter on their website. Send them VIN details - but even then they got it wrong for me! I may have the item for sale on eBay when I return! In the meantime I have ordered the correct item from a UK supplier.

Ordered a door latch for a mk4 golf , website had part with original part number unfortunately the part is wrong .
I’ve tried and tried to contact auto doc ( can’t send the part back as the bott doesn’t recognise my email which is correct ) , used chat and was told to email auto doc fr , can’t be delivered,
Tried uk email , no response.
