AutoAidBreakdown website tech issue with renewal payment…

The reason I had to talk with a AutoAid representative was because the website did not accept my Visa Debit card details. I double-checked I had put in the correct details but it would not continue with me paying online. I have been a member for many years so I reported that there was a problem with the online renewal system.

Thankfully, Kayode was very helpful and made my renewal really easy to pay for.

Bought a policy after reading an article / recommendation in Martin Lewis's MSE email newsletter. Paid just over £50. Had to use when my son broke down on a Friday evening on the motorway. Was expecting a long wait but he was back on the road in an hour. Great service - definitely recommend.

Searching for Breakdown Cover

I was looking for breakdown cover for the first time in several years so checked out more than one supplier. My preference for Autoaidbreakdown was based on price, simplicity of using the website and clarity of documentation. I also trust the Money Saving Expert for many of my financial decisions so their recommendation was important.

Paid more for being loyal customer

I have got say autoaid breakdown service is one the best. However I just found out that I could have paid £57.28 for full cover via Martin Money Saving expert with Autoaid but was charged £74.14 as existing customer. Disappointed that I have to pay more for being a loyal customer.

Misfuelling

I managed to put petrol in my diesel van and was stuck on a garage forecourt. Rang Autoaid, they were very attentive and took all details. Told me someone would be with me in 60 -90 minutes. Then they called me to inform it might be longer. However a few minutes later the mis fuelling guy rang to say he'd be with me in 5 minutes...and he was. He was very polite, explained everything to us as to what he was going to do with regards removing the offending fuel etc. He was very reassuring and I was well impressed by the service from start to thankfully driving off the forecourt. Highly recommended.
