Defective product and terrible support
I purchased a set of wind deflectors from Auto Clover on June 25th, hoping for a simple enhancement to my vehicle. Unfortunately, the entire experience was a series of disappointments that has left me frustrated and without a usable product.
When the first set of deflectors arrived, I immediately noticed that the passenger front door deflector was badly scuffed along the top. Unfortunately, I had already used two of the included prep wipes before realizing the damage, so I couldn’t even return it in the original condition. I contacted customer support, requesting a replacement and two additional prep wipes.
A few days later, I received a replacement. However, due to an error on my part, I had mistakenly informed support that it was the driver's side that needed replacing, not the passenger side. But the replacement deflector I received was also damaged, with the packaging in poor condition. To make matters worse, the company failed to include the replacement wipes I had specifically requested.
I reached out to support again, admitted my mistake regarding the wrong side, and explained that the replacement part was also damaged. I also reiterated my need for the installation wipes. Their response was baffling. They offered to send a replacement wind deflector for £7.99 plus £3.99 p+p, as if I had requested a new order rather than reporting yet another issue with their damaged products.
After clarifying the situation once more, Auto Clover finally apologized and sent the correct replacement. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it was yet another disappointment—the deflector was damaged again, and, once more, no fitment wipes were included. Even if the part had arrived in perfect condition, I still wouldn’t have been able to install it correctly due to the missing wipes.
At this point, I've given up entirely on this product. The wind deflectors were not of the premium quality I had expected, and the customer service was severely lacking. The repeated issues with damaged products and the poor communication left me with no choice but to bin everything and cut my losses. I would not recommend Auto Clover to anyone looking for quality car accessories or reliable customer service.
