I ordered a DPF and AutoDoc sent it only wrapped in thin plastic. Do you really need to be a rocket scientist or a PhD in structural engineering to understand that a thin metal flange must be protected on a part that weighs 7 kg? Of course the DPF arrived damaged, the flange is bent and it will cause me another 2 weeks delay before I get a replacement now. With no guarantee it will arrive OK if the same genius packs it for transport.

Four stars because of delivery. I wasn't home and they have left package 35min away from my home.

I ordered some parts from AUTODOC and when they arrived in the UK at the EVRI parcel delivery depo, the EVRI tracking system told me “This parcel is bigger than we expected, so a specialist Evri courier will need to deliver it.”

So it is coming up to 5 days that the parcel has been with EVRI, and I am still waiting to hear when my parcel is going to be delivered.

I contacted AUTODOC told them the parcel was oversized. AUTODOC said “It is very unlikely that the package was oversized. All parts are inside normal package 750x200x950”.

I have confirmed with EVRI and their size limit is “Add together the 2 shortest sides and multiply it by 2. Then add the length. If the total is less than 245cm, your good to go”.

So doing this with the dimensions AUTODOC gave me for my parcel (750x200x950) the calculation would be 200 + 750 = 950. Then 950 x 2 = 1900.

Then take the 1900 + 950 = 2850! A total of 2850mm shows this parcel is over the EVRI size limit of 2450mm.

So it is oversized for EVRI based on AUTODOC’s own admissions.

EVRI also tells parcel senders “If your parcel is Overweight or Oversized then we’ll send the additional costs on to the sender and keep the parcel until we receive payment”.

So if AUTODOC don’t admit what they have done and look into what I have told them (will AUTODOC do this, because as far as AUTODOC are concerned the delivery is still not classified as late or there isn’t a size issue as far as they are concerned) so looking at other complaints on Trustpilot this could be weeks before this is sorted out.

I have to also add this is the Second order in a row now, I have had a delivery issue with.

So I have 4 direct questions for AUTODOC which are as follows.

1) Why do you send out oversized parcels to EVRI?

2) Even if this was an AUTODOC accident sending it via EVRI, why does you customer service team not know about the size limit with EVRI and go immediately to resolve the problem?

3) Is the issue I have having also happening to others?

4) When am I going to get my parcel?

AUTODOC if you reply to this post, please give actual direct answers to all my questions and not some standard holding comment like “Your case has been referred to the quality control department and will be considered as soon as possible.”
