While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

AutoDoc Guide is a local-first Windows desktop software developer dedicated to streamlining process documentation and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) creation. Unlike traditional, cloud-only documentation tools that upload private workspaces to third-party servers, AutoDoc prioritizes absolute data sovereignty, high performance, and compliance. It is built directly for operational teams, IT administrators, and enterprises that must comply with strict privacy regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA. The signature application, AutoDoc, operates seamlessly in the background on Windows 10 and 11. As users run through workflows across desktop software, ERPs, IDEs, or browsers, the application captures real-time screenshots and tracks hotkey actions. Instead of producing ambiguous instruction steps, the built-in Windows UI Automation dynamically pulls exact control names to auto-generate clear, contextual step narration. Users can structure, adjust, and polish their captured timelines through a simple drag-and-drop editor, inject custom context cards, or easily apply image PII masking to redact sensitive fields. The software supports professional multi-format sharing, allowing teams to export publication-grade manuals into standalone Markdown bundles, formatted HTML pages, editable Word documents, or clean PDFs. Collaborative team libraries can sync friction-free across shared network folders or internal cloud drives without forcing businesses to configure new cloud accounts or introduce external data silos. Based in Zevenaar, Netherlands, AutoDoc Guide offers a scalable free tier along with volume-discounted Pro licensing options to deliver an enterprise-ready documentation experience under full local control.
