Dishinest and unprofessional - avoid
Avoid at all costs: dishonest, uncaring & unprofessional
My appointment to book 2 tyres was booked for 9am. I arrived on time, but the shutters were down and the place was locked up. The first member of staff didn't even show up until 9.15, offering no apology for the delay or for keeping me waiting outside.
I was told my tyres (ordered via Asda Tyres) hadn't arrived. "This often happens," they said....so i returned home. 1 hour wasted.
When I then called Asda to complain about the service, they said they would check. 30 minutes later, they confirmed that the tyres had indeed been delivered and signed for.
I would have accepted a courtesy call from the garage to tell me that the tyres hadn't arrived, or (more likely), that the tyres were on site, but they were overwhelmed with work and couldn't put them on until later. Unfortunately, lying came more easily to them than customer service.
Finally, the garage is located on an extremely chaotic trading estate, and the workshop itself is dirty and disorganised. A cluttered, messy workspace usually reflects the quality of the work being done on your vehicle.
In the automotive industry, honesty is everything. You are trusting these people with your safety and your money. Between the lying, the lack of punctuality, and the general chaos of the site, I’ve lost an hour of my life and the cost of travel for absolutely nothing.
Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.
