AVOID AUTO GLASS AT ALL COST
AVOID and if your insurance company insists that you use this company argue your objection.Admiral left me waiting 6 weeks for my appointment date at Auto glass Lakeside Doncaster on 7th March 2026. They were helpful and carried out the repair.Today however my car failed to react to my key and I could not start the car which is as dead as a dodo.I was about to drive my visiting Sister to Retford train station for her train to London at 12.45 today.AUTOGLASS reacted as follows.Michelle took the call , listened to my complaint and said she would send a message to their warranty people but explained it could take up to 48hours to get a response !!! I live in a village with very few facilities and so I am cut off rather.I said this was unacceptable and asked to speak to her Supervisor.She declined at first but I again insisted.She came back after several minutes saying this was not possible.Again I made it clear that I wanted to talk to a Manager.Eventually Sika came on the line and repeated what Michelle had already said.I then asked to talk to his Superior to be told that all managers were unavailable ! I then asked for the warranty department and he told me this was also not possible.I advised him that I would have to hire a car , reclaim my Sisters expenses in respect of rebooking a later train and an Uber to take her to Retford.He ( SIKA ) then said he would transfer me to customer services ( why this wasn't suggested in the first place is baffling to say the least ! Anyway after being told around forty times that the glass they recycle each year is heavier than the Eifell Tower I gave up.I then rang a chap called Terry who at least showed some interest.He sent a message to said customer service asking them to call me as a matter of urgency and then tried to transfer me to customer service.As I type I have been holding for nearly an hour.
