VansCo who I Bought my Van through, were great. In many areas I was pleased to do business with them. Autoguard was brought into play early and seemed to be an easy answer should I have anything to be concerned about in the 1st year of ownership of my Van. That’s why I feel it’s important to have such cover available.

They delivered what they promised.

After contacting Autoguard regarding a couple of faults with my car - I got a quote from the garage and sent to them. The car was booked in at the garage and the faults repaired. I wasn't made aware of what repairs were covered by the warranty - just given an email with an amount that I would receive.. However,the amount stated was paid to me very quickly. Thank you Autoguard for a Very good service.

Good communication and clear instructions from your staff

Had my water pump fail on my Golf R, so contact my Autoguard Warranty to start a repair took 4 days for the whole process from start to finish including the repair (New Water Pump & Thermostat) from VW. I was kept updated through the repair via my app. Excellent service and would highly recommend this service for a piece of mind to keep you on the road. Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me. Thank you. We had a clutch issue which Autoguard which apparently do not cover 90% of the relevant components . They took several days to answer the garage updates with a one line reply of "we do not cover x y and z etc " . Apparently a clutch hydraulic slave cylinder is not even covered .The garage (main agents) were additionally shocked. Another get out clause it would seem. Beware

If I could put 0 starts i would. Extremely unhelpfully, pay £1500 for lifetime warranty but they didn't even give me an advice how yo start my car without key fob as battery died advice to go to the nearby garage (I COULDNT EVEN DRIVE), when call3d breakdown assistant, they also told me to go to the garage when a could driver and couldn't give me an advice. Managed to sort it our myself. My people in Auto Guard couldn't even care less and sounded the same on the phone. I could get more help by calling one if my friends. AWFUL EXPERIENCE.

Took a few days to look at claim and then rejected and given no option to ask for a second check

Purchased a van that included 3 months warranty with Autoguard. 3 weeks left on warranty and I had a problem with the air conditioning. Turned out to be a faulty valve in the compressor. My local garage fixed the problem. Total cost including re-gas was £145.80 which has been reimbursed by Autoguard. Thankyou.

Everything was online and straight forward claim was settled within a week. Was simple process from start to finish. Would highly recommend there warranty

What a waste of time and money this warranty is.

My advice don’t bother getting it.

They hold you to the criteria so strictly that if you miss one thing, they just reject the claim.

Save your money and do something else with it!

My claim was dealt with by my vehicle supplier who dealt directly with Autoguard. The claim was approved authorised and the repairs carried out all within 1 week of notification. All in all an excellent service from both Autoguard and my vehicle supplier.

Supportive team with prompt responses. Clear communication with regard to how to proceed with claims etc. Payment received from Autoguard promptly.
