AutoNation Did Not Honor the Return Request

They did not do a State Inspection before the sale. Turns out the car had SERIOUS engine damage. I requested a refund several times and it was not honored. They had the vehicle 9 weeks after I bought it (paid cash for it) and when I picked it up it had even more damage!
— Passengers Side Mirror broken
— Low air in all 4 tires
— No gas
— Key FOB did not work
— Warning Lights on
— Last oil change was over 1 year ago
— The GM has still not returned any of my 16 messages left for him. (The Sales Manager keeps telling me he is “in a meeting”)
(And that’s just to name a few)
My advice: DO NOT buy from this establishment. I certainly would not have had I known this is how they do business.

The AutoNation on Campus Dr in FW TX

The AutoNation on Campus Dr in Fort Worth TX made a certified offer to buy my 2018 Ram ProMaster camping conversion van for $32K. Then 2 days later when I went back to accept their offer they said they made a mistake and the offer was really only for $22k. Is this how they normally do business with their "certified" offers?

My particular experience was a good…

My particular experience was a good one.
Purchased a 5 year old Lexus from an AutoNation dealership in FL.
I was presented with a vehicle that was detailed perfectly including engine bay, brand new tires installed, fresh oil change, new filters installed.
The 5 year old vehicle appeared brand new.
So far no issues no complaints.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would.
This summer in July I took my 2007 jeep Rubicon to the auto nation location in Littleton Colorado. We had some work done on it which was under warranty. Less than two months later the work failed and we had to take it back to AutoNation in Colorado Springs to have this work repaired a second time. We were charged a fee for this, which we should not have been since it was a warranty repair. Since then I talked to Jared who is the service manager at the lLittleton location, I have also called the Colorado Springs location multiple times and tried to get a hold of Amanda who I was told is the service manager and Topher who I was told is the Director. I called every day last week and nobody has ever called me back even though multiple messages have been left and return calls were “promised”
At this point management at the Littleton location tells me that the Colorado Springs location will reimburse me, and of course management at the Colorado Springs location is telling me that the Littleton location is responsible to reimburse me.
The work was done poorly to begin with and the service fee never should have been charged at the second location: Terrible work and terrible customer service. Warranty is worthless

They won't even return my phone calls

They won't even return my phone calls. I don't think they do a complete check of there cars. After I purchased the car, I was a week in and needed to take it to the dealership, they put it on a lift and both back tires were showing wire and one had chunks out of it. But they can't do nothing for me.

Dear buyers

Dear AutoNation,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my utmost disappointment with the unprofessional conduct that I recently experienced at your dealership. My intention is not to vent my frustrations, but rather to bring to your attention the negative experience I had in hopes of preventing similar occurrences in the future.

On 09/20/2023, I contacted your dealership expressing my interest in purchasing a used 2017 Lexus 460. Following our initial conversation, I promptly reached out to my credit union and requested them to issue a check for the said vehicle. Concurrently, I informed your dealership that certain information was required to complete the process.

Unfortunately, despite my repeated attempts to contact your dealership to provide the necessary details, I received no response whatsoever. However, to my surprise, during this period of silence, I was repeatedly assured by your dealership that the car was secured and would soon be mine.

Regrettably, my hopes were shattered when I discovered that the vehicle had been sold despite the assurances I had received from your dealership. Such actions not only demonstrate a complete lack of professionalism but also undermine the trust that customers place in car dealerships. I am left feeling extremely frustrated and let down by this disappointing turn of events.

I write this email not solely for my own sake, but as a word of caution to potential buyers. It is essential for individuals to be aware of your dealership's practices so they can exercise caution when conducting business with you. I implore you to take immediate action to rectify this situation and prevent a recurrence.

I believe it is crucial for your dealership to evaluate your internal processes, particularly in terms of communication and customer service. Improving these aspects within your organization will not only enhance customer satisfaction but also contribute to a positive reputation within the industry.

I sincerely hope that this email serves as a catalyst for change at your dealership. It is my hope that no other potential buyer will have to go through the same frustration and disappointment that I have experienced. Please take this matter seriously and initiate the necessary measures to ensure that future customers are treated with the utmost professionalism and care.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I expect a prompt response and a resolution to the issues raised. Time is of the essence, as the reputation of your dealership is at stake.

Yours sincerely,

Out of state customer

All was great until my credit card bill came in and they had charged me 18% more than my internet order showed and my invoice showed. No explanation. Not trustworthy. Check pricing carefully. Loved the parts but left bad taste.

5 hours wait with an appointment for a oil change is unacceptable.
It’s obvious that they have sold too many cars for the size of their service department.
This is a scam, there is nothing free about wasting a day for a free oil change.
I’m planning on contacting the Florida Business and Professional Regulations Dept.
I think an attorney can get a class action law suit with this scam.
The managers I have ask to see never show-up or return calls.

Can't give less than one star

Can't give less than one star ! I ordered a part on 8-4-2023, a shipping label thru Fedex created on 8-18-2023. Fedex has never picked up the shipment, there is no customer service to speak with. I called the number on my bank transaction 954-769-3273, it gives another phone number and states the mailbox is full.
This entire company is a huge scam

Bought Jeep from Auto Nation in March they have had it more than I have.

I bought a jeep from Auto Nation in March. They have had it more than I have. Bought the extended warranty. Since their mechanics are ASE certified I don't understand what it is taking over two months to figure out why it is overheating. I would not recommend this company. Customer service is great when you buy but terrible if it starts having mechanical issues. Still don't have the jeep. Buyers beware.

If I could give 0 stars I would.

If I could give 0 stars I would period I have never been so stressed and so disgusted in my life with the lack of urgency and customer service that is being displayed by the service department. I have a job that requires I have a vehicle for travel. I am a single mother with two children and a medical condition that limits me from being in excessive heat. I went online to their website and got an appointment for the soonest availability. Which was Saturday at 1 PM when I came. To check in, Rustin told me that due to the time in the day that the technicians would not be able to get to my vehicle and that I should come back on Monday instead. At that time, I also inquired if there were any loaner vehicles available because I did not feel comfortable with taking my car back to just sit when they could at least assess it. My vehicle went in at 7 am on monday, 8/6/2023, For a heating and cooling system, repair. The heater came on and would not turn off in an Arizona heat wave. Today is August 18th the day after my birthday and I still have not gotten my vehicle back, and they have supposedly had no rental returns during this entire time. When I dropped off my vehicle that Monday morning I was told by Sara, that they had no other vehicles in the shop right now and they could get to mine immediately. She would contact my warranty company that day. I kept checking my vehicles status and if there had been contact with the warranty company over the next few days and was told they hadnt been able to reach them. I have also been told that I can come pick-up my vehicle to just wait out a response from my warranty company. I finally received response as to my vehicle status and I was told to call the warranty company because they needed a customer statement, I called them as soon as I was provided the number on a Saturday, and the warranty department was closed of course. So I called at 8 am Monday morning to give my statement and I also asked when the claim was submitted, they said that they had only just called on Friday, that it is a call center and if she called previously the call and request would have been recorded and submitted for review. I received my approval letter from the warranty company this morning and I sent it to Nissan with Instructions on what they need to do to be paid. How many weeks will it take now? I have been taking Ubers at my own expense this entire time. The letter also denied claims for parts and repairs that I was not informed of by the service team. This experience is the extreme opposite of my last reviewed experience. I literally want to sell my car I own so I never have to come back to Nissan service. I still have to get it back before I can even do that.

Not sure what this company is.. Scam or Not Stay Away

Not sure what this company is... Ordered parts, going past 2 weeks now. No responses to any messages, no delivery status, nothing... Only message received was the payment receipt immediately after the purchase. Scam or Not, I would not do business with a company that carries themselves in such a manner.

This site is a scam site

This site is a scam site. It has been a month since I ordered my part and it still says the status is "in progress" on my order. However, they have charged my credit card and they do not respond to e-mails or phone calls. I even tried canceling the order since they obviously can't fulfill it, I have still heard nothing. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. If you are trying to figure out this company's phone number you can call them at 1-888-423-1664.

Tried buying a part from the "auto…

Tried buying a part from the "auto nation parts" website. They sent me something that did not match what was listed on their description. Their customer service is awful - it's been nearly 2 weeks and I am no closer to getting a refund or returning the item. It took a full week for them to respond to a voicemail and email and then they have no follow-up after I question why I should pay return shipping and a re-stocking fee for what is clearly not the part they show on their website.

Will absolutely never go back to them for a part, service, or to buy my next vehicle.

Great Customer service

I was met by a gentleman named Martin, he was friendly and helpful. I did buy a car yet. But I will be back to look again. He showed me the cars that fit the description of what I wanted. I did not buy because I need to wait for my financial situation to change.
