It was my first visit to Andy's Autos…

It was my first visit to Andy's Autos North West in search of a quality but reasonably priced car, and I was impressed immediately by his showroom and workshop on an industrial estate at Standish, Wigan. Apart from his knowledge of all models, he is an excellent motor engineer, and his stock of used vehicles is presented with the added confidence of a six-month warranty, mechanically sound and professionally valeted. It was a pleasure to meet and to purchase a used car from Andy.

No stars in reality

Update. Turns out my car has been "clocked" Evidentially before it's first MOT whilst it was in the hands of Autos Northwest. I'm guessing I am not the only victim of this criminal activity "fraud" Anyone know where Daniel and Lucy Langley live or operating from?

No stars in reality. Deceitful operators. Ended up costing me in excess of 5k to get matters sorted out, and still not sure I'm there with it yet. I'd recommend people keep their ears and eyes open for Daniel Langley and his wife Lucy, in case they surface again. The fact they run a limited company, they can still be liable if they have conducted any activity that could be illegal, such as fraud or deception, including trading whilst insolvent. I intend doing some digging. It's amazing what you can find out nowadays. I suggest all others who might have ended up out of pocket take advice!

Dodgy and Scammed

Dodgy

I had issues with my car from day one, went into garage 13 times in 12 months. Engine went in March and only got my car back the last few weeks. Car returned with 1000 miles on clock, bumped on back and front of car, all belongings not returned, hand break falling off, back door wont lock, car wont lock. Great customer service - not. Absolutely gutted, this was my dream car which turned into a nightmare and ended up with a dodgy car which has cost a fortune.

STOP DIRECT DEBITS

All reviews are true.. company no longer trading.. seriously can't believe it EVERYONE please stop your direct debits for extra warranty. I've only lost 2 months thank god but bank can't help to get it back...

Shocking, disgusting garage and staff

Where do I start…. Basically had my car 2 years been back-and-forth a number of times with various issues and it all seems to be issues that the garage cause . The best one was in July I took my car in for a job that was told was going to take one day so I left my car with them only for them to have it two weeks, put 100 miles on it and used for personal use or even better still customers using it! I got it back and it was still broke so again I went back and forth another number of times!!

I was charged £700 in August for repairs and they’ve done nothing but cause more damage/issues to the car, as well as scratch 2 alloys that they fitted 2 new tyres too. Fuming was an understatement!

Alarm bells started ringing at that point especially as I was given a customer car as it had an illegally spaced private plate. ___ 3 POD.

I rang Dan and Dan himself told me that he was having a lot of personal issues that his mum was more or less dying so I thought I would give them some space and come back to him at a later date.

I was promised the world and thought it would be fine, to have no response or anything.

I then drove past the garage to see that the cars have been seized and that the vehicles were being taken away.

I rang Dan, text him & emailed him with no response.

However, I did get a response one day from Dan via text, after pestering him saying he will contact me so I responded with ‘whatever’ to be told that he would meet me in person and explain. (Again taking the Mickey out of me, all talk and no action)

I’ve not heard anything since, I’m £700 down, my car is now off the road, and paid for a warranty that now doesn’t exist.

I’m absolutely disgusted, fed up and just annoyed that Dan took me for a ride and used his so called sick mum and said she was dying. What sort of sick person does that!!

Dan if you read this you should be disgusted with yourself, I gave you so many chances and thought you were better than this.

Stay well away from all the autos north west team and if they do show up again I’ll be quick to add this to my review!!

WARNING DEAL WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN PERIL

FIRSTLY, LET ME MAKE IT CLEAR, I AM NOT A DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER WHO HAS NOT RECEIVED HIS FREE KEY RING AND FLOWERS UPON A CAR PURCHASE! I PURCHASED A CAR FROM THIS BUSINESS IN SEPTEMBER 2025. THERE WERE A COUPLE OF ISSUES THAT NEEDED TO BE SORTED OUT. BASED ON "TRUST" I HANDED OVER/TRANSFERRED THOUSAND OF POUNDS TO THE COMPANY ON THE UNDERSTANDING THEY ( DANIEL LANGLEY) WOULD SEND THE SPARE KEY AND THE WARRANTY PAPERWORK. NEITHER APPEARED. MORE CONCERNING, HIS DIRECT E MAIL BOUNCED MY MESSAGES BACK. THE BUSINESS PHONE NUMBER WAS NEVER ANSWERED. MESSAGES TO BOTH DANIEL AND HIS WIFE LUCY LANGLEY HAVE NOT BEEN REPLIED TO. DANIEL HAS NOT ANSWERED HIS MOBILE NUMBER. MY INTENTION IS TO TAKE THEM TO COURT. HOWEVER I HAVE A FEELING (OPINION, WITHOUT PREJUDICE) THAT THE COMPANY IS SOON TO BE NO LONGER, AND MIGHT RE APPEAR UNDER ANOTHER NAME? AGAIN, JUST AN OPINION AND GUT FEELING, BASED ON HOW THEY HAVE BEHAVED SUBSEQUENT TO THE DEAL BEING DONE. DANIEL EVEN SIGNED THE CONTRACT AGREEING TO DEAL WITH THE OUTSTANDING MATTERS. IT IS MY INTENTION TO DISCOVER ALL RELEVANT REVIEW SITES AND CUT AND PASTE THIS REVIEW. I HAVE POSTED THIS REVIEW RELUCTANTLY, AS I NEVER NORMALLY POST REVIEWS. INSTEAD I PREFER TO DEAL WITH ISSUES DIRECTLY WITH THE BUSINESS. HOWEVER AFTER MAKING NUMEROUS ATTEMTS TO CONTACT THE COMPANY AND THE PASSING OF TIME WITH NO CONTACT, I FEEL THIS IS ABSOLUTELY APPROPRIATE.

Steer clear of this company at all costs.

Purchased a car from this company last year with extended warranty at £2000. After trying to book in for service and MOT and not getting any response to messages, emails or calls, we drove to see them in person last Saturday. As we arrived all vehicles were being repossessed with the owner saying we’re having a bit of trouble. Promised to call me later that day, as I expected still no call. Now having to pay out for service and MOT elsewhere, should have trusted my instincts and walked away at the time of purchase when the owner stunk of weed. In previous interactions when the car needed to be looked at, I was told it would be collected and a courtesy car provided. Twice they never bothered to turn up or even contact us, no courtesy car was available anyway when we had agreed to take it in ourselves and Jen in customer service was rude.

Extremely Disappointed — Paid for 2-Year Care Package but Dealership Closed Without Notice

I purchased my Jaguar E-Pace last year with a 2-year care package (£1,500), which included MOT and service. Two weeks ago, I had a confirmed a booking for MOT and service. I drove all the way from Stafford in a rain storm, only to find the dealership completely empty and closed.

No one had contacted me beforehand to cancel or reschedule. I tried calling multiple times on both landline and mobile, but no one answered and the voicemail was full — exactly like many other reviews here.

This is completely unacceptable. I trusted them and paid upfront for peace of mind, but now I’m being forced to arrange and pay for MOT and servicing myself.

Very disheartened and frustrated by this experience — this is not the level of service I expected

So much for "Pride ourselves on customer care"

Have been trying to get in touch with them for over a week now, the car is under warranty and we have a fault which needs to be taken care of. They will not answer the phone, and their mailbox is full. neither mobile nor landline are answered. I have paid for an extended warranty, I am going to have to drive 40 miles to get an appointment.
Have read many reviews which say the same.

DODGY MOTORS, DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE!

All the 1* ratings in here are the truth, the 5* have to be fake it’s as simple as that.

Went against my gut instincts & bought off this shower, regretted it from the minute they got the money. Seriously do not touch them with a barge pole!

Too many issues to go into but liars from start to finish, as I say all other one star ratings have something in it that happened here as well. Took car away to repair paint damage, came back two days later nothing done 400 miles on the clock, now a bill of £500 to put right.

Absolute Shower!! Should not be in business. Not affiliated to Land Rover, RAC Warranty is lies, just a bog standard warranty, weeks after purchase done nothing with V5 and car still shown as for sale.

JUST DODGY DO NOT USE!

AVOID.... AVOID.... AVOID

One star is way to high, unfortunately there is no minus options Completely AVOID this company...
After purchasing a range rover evoque from these cowboys 6 weeks ago, there was an instant fault plus lots of scratches all over the car. They came to collet the car and left me a much smaller car to use. After they had it fo 2.5 weeks the car was returned still full of scratches. I got there usual lies and bullsxxt. The very next day the engine management light was on, again I contacted the dealer, after leaving me for 8 days with the car undrivable, they told me they would collect it on a recovery truck. That did not happen, the drove it back to there garage 3weeks ago. Adding a further 80miles to the clock. They left me with a courtesy car (so I thought) on 27/09/2025 I had 2 blokes confronting me outside a restaurant, telling me the courtesy car the garage had given me, was infact the blokes car and they had given it to the garage 1 month ago for repairs. So after a lot of debates and the blokes proving it was actually there car, I returned it to them for them to then tell me they had been to the garage and it has completely shut down, no vehicles on the property. I still have no idea where my car is. They also put 1700 miles on the supposed courtesy car. Of course there is no response from them regarding this issue. Stear very clear as these are complete liars and very deceptive. PLEASE TAKE NOTE.

All cars repossessed this morning as directors owe thousands of pounds to customers and banks.
I advise if your car is there please go and try get it back if you can.

Scammers

Took money and didnt turn up. When finally managed to get hold of someone .told us to claim it back from the bank this is not a bussiness its a scammer and has been reported to the gov site this is why so many diff businesses come up all over the country linked to this number.

Visited Autos North West today to view …Great experience.

Visited Autos North West today to view Range Rover Evoque, although they were technically not open the gentleman on site was extremely accommodating.
Danny was so helpful and gave us all information needed.we were very impressed with his genuine attitude.
We haven’t decided which car we will be buying, but we will not hesitate to go back to this garage.
We will give another review if we buy.

I had no trouble buying a Range Rover…

I had no trouble buying a Range Rover Evoque from them, helpful and polite. The car is immaculate and done less than 19,500 miles. I would bring them up on 2 points. First, they handed me the keys and that was it, no explanation of anything in the vehicle. Second, i spent £18650 and included a 4 year RAC warranty...... FILL THE FUEL TANK UP FFS. Running on fumes.

Bought a car in January this year
After delivery
The staff were pretty rude .
The car was a Range Rover which had to be returned fir to many faults this took quite a while to do this return as I had to do a court claim against them
It has now been settled and I have my money back
But still at a loss from this purchase
There was a Roxanne and a Jen who dealt with me and ate very unprofessional
I’m told they no longer work there
Avoid and go to a proper dealership
Owner stepped in eventually but is difficult to get hold off all in all the worst experience of a car purchase please note the car is still up for sale with them since take back

Bought a jaguar E pace over a year ago from these guys and they have been fantastic everytime no ive need anything no matter how small they have brilliant. Just in process of part exchanging it with them now for a f pace I would highly recommend them to all, Thanks guys keep up the good work regards Barry
