We were charged extra for an additional driver, although our contract with he broker Check24 was already with an additional driver.
We were not told that the car was a diesel.
When leaving the airport, the warning sign was lit up to indicate that Adblue had to be added. This should have been done before ee got the car. We had to pay 25 € to refill at a gas station.
Reading the other reviews, I can confirm that the lady at the desk also tried to sell an additional insurance, although we had already an extra insurance with the broker. The excuse was of course that our insurance was not as complete as that from Autovia.
With the other reviews, one gets the advice to contact customer service, which we did. However, we have not received any reaction on the complaint since then.

Regarding the additional driver, we kindly note that only drivers explicitly listed on the rental agreement issued at the counter are considered authorized. If there was any misunderstanding between the broker’s voucher and our on-site contract, we encourage you to contact customercare@autovia.it with your booking details so we can verify and address it.
As for the fuel type, it is always indicated in the vehicle’s documentation and on the rental contract. We regret if this was not noticed at pickup.
Concerning the AdBlue refill, all our vehicles are maintained according to the manufacturer’s requirements. However, if any alert is displayed after collection, customers are advised to inform our staff immediately so we can arrange assistance. Please send us your documentation at customercare@autovia.it so we can review your case.

It started well from the beginning: Veronica helped us very efficiently and kindly at the desk in Rome. All went well. From the reservation at the desk, to the return of the car: very smooth, no discussion, no waiting. I definitely recommend this company (at least in Rome Fiumincino)!

Super helpful and friendly staff in…
Super helpful and friendly staff in office, pick up area and drop off. Lovely car, nearly new model. Very comfortable and fairly economic to drive. Lovely staff at drop off were so nice, asked us to park in a specific spot and our return form was signed off and email copy sent to me really quickly. Excellent service, I'm really impressed with this company. They have stepped up their game in Italy.

The car rental was smooth and easy
The car rental was smooth and easy, but the car was not yet ready when we came to pick it up. It was still being cleaned. What they did not do was to fill up the water for the window washer. There was no explanation for the apple car play device.
The return also was smooth and easy.

I booked via booking
I booked via booking, a car for a week. When i reached their booth in Rome Fiumincino airport, I was asked to submit 2 credit cards in order to get charged 1200 from each card for the insurance(toral 2400euros). Of course I didnt have with me 2 credit cards, and nowhere was mentioned that 2 cards are required.The alternative they gave me was to pay an extra 483 euro on top of the price which I already paid, non refundable in order to give me the contract and the car. The lady who serviced me was not polite at all and she was almost offensive. She told me that I cannot have a refund since I have to do a cancelation 48 hrs before.I didnt take a car in the end and left the booth. They ruined my holiday.....

Very good car, nice people
We asked for another car (the seats in a fiat 500 aren't comfortable) and get a Seat Arona with a Methan-Engine. This car was comfortable and very economic. This was our first experience with such a car and we were very satisfied - Thank you! The personal there is customer oriented and fast - Bravi!
