Friendly lady at desk and my car was perfect.

I recently hired a car from Turin airport to drive to the Aosta Valley to go skiing - a well known route to the region's ski resorts. Knowing that a heavy snowfall was due, I double checked that snowchains were included in hire, and were indeed in the vehicle. Enroute, I reached heavy snowfall, and the police closed the road behind me and made snowchains mandatory. When I stopped to fit the snowchains, I found the included snowchains where the completely wrong size for the vehicle's wheels! As a result I had to continue driving in the snow until I could find a garage to confirm they were the wrong size, and I then had to buy the correctly sized snow chains at my own expense.

This is completely unacceptable and put me in a very dangerous situation. I therefore recommend any of the several other vendors at Turin airport instead of Autovia.

Hello. I rented a car from Autovia at Turin airport, automatic transmission hybrid Seat Leon for seven days, only to drive with my family from the airport to the French ski resort of Tignes and back (about 600 km both ways), but even for this task the car was not ready. This is not the first time I rent a car in Europe and I got used to a certain level of service, although I took it for the first time in Italy - and it was beyond good and evil. The car was given out in a wet state (immediately after washing), with an empty fuel tank 1/8 and a completely empty washer reservoir. The car was no more than two years old, and its appearance did not arouse suspicion. Therefore, I did not immediately look into the spare wheel compartment in the trunk and under the hood, but I had to do it later. After arriving in Tignes, the car stood motionless in the parking lot for seven nights. Before leaving for Turin, I looked into the compartment where I expected to find a spare tire, but it was not there, and in this place there was an already used can of foam to repair a puncture. On the way back from Tignes, the car broke down almost immediately, the low battery sign came on, we managed to turn off the road into a pocket, where the car stalled and would not start again. Now I looked under the hood and found no coolant. That is, in the expansion tank it was not at all! It is strange that the car did not stop earlier from overheating. At the moment of a complete stop, I managed to drive only about 330 km, in the opposite direction we drove about 40 km. The fuel tank was over 3/4 full. We were still in France in the mountains. Autovia said that they would not be able to provide another car, since we are not in Italy, and they told us to contact their International assistance service. We had to contact International assistance, provide the coordinates for the evacuation of the car, after about an hour we were found, loaded and taken to the nearest more or less large settlement in France. They also called us a taxi there, since there are no regular buses from there to Italy, in addition, we were late for the train from Turin to Milan. Taxi cost us 577EUR, we were at the station 10 minutes before the train departure. I had insurance through the doyouitaly.com aggregator, where I also arranged for a car rental. In order to apply for a refund and find out the fate of my 700EUR deposit that was deducted from me on booking, I need information from Autovia. This information has still not been provided to me, although 15 days have passed since the incident. Based on the totality of the facts I have cited, it remains to be surprised how the Autovia group of companies has not yet been deprived of a license for this type of activity, because strict regulators must operate in Europe. Great service, quick processes

The broken headlight made the rental difficult. Driving in the mountains of the north Italy in poor weather was hard enough! I had to make sure to travel during daytime.

I booked a Fiat 500L (or similar) with full coverage for three days for a reasonable price.

We recieved a larger car and quite new, which I was positively surpriced by.

I was instructed to leave the gas level at 3/8, rather than full. That was quite OK with me, but a new thing to learn.

The staff was friendly at pick-up and drop-of.

I will for sure use them again in Torino Airport.
