AuxControl is a social music experiment for the aux cord: guests join a session, search for and queue up tracks, and vote on what plays next -- no app or account needed to join. The host picks how the music plays when they start a session. Jukebox mode is the default and always free: song search and 30-second previews come from the keyless iTunes Search API, and each winning track deep-links into whatever the host already uses to play music, with no account required on either side. Hosts who want full tracks playing hands-free can connect Spotify (via the Web Playback SDK, requires Premium) or Apple Music (via MusicKit JS). One deployment serves all three modes. There are no ads anywhere on AuxControl. The product monetizes through a single one-time Party Pass purchase that unlocks a bigger lobby for that session -- never through advertising, and never by gating the core experience. AuxControl is built for anyone who ends up in charge of the music for a group with mixed taste: casual party and pregame hosts, wedding and mobile DJs fielding constant song requests mid-set, and bars or bartenders who want a crowd-driven playlist without handing over the aux cord to whoever asks first. It works best with 5 or more people in the room.
