Really great buying experience

Can I just say what a fantastic experience buying from this company has been. Ordered a Canon MF267DW laser printer/scanner/copier online on Sunday lunchtime and it was delivered Tuesday afternoon. Within about 30 minutes we were up and running and printing over WiFi. The service from them was outstanding as we weren't expecting it until Friday or Saturday. Their email communication was fast and I could check my order online in my account.

A big thank you from myself and my family for reducing tension in this household during this lockdown period of home working and schooling for 2 adults and 2 teenagers!

There is no need to look any further…

There is no need to look any further than AV Experts for your audiovisual needs. Rasel and his assistant not only did a superb job installing our TV wall mount bracket, on a newly tiled wall, but took the time to reprogram all our remotes, and left us with easy to follow instructions. Extremely professional and personable, it did not go unnoticed that Rasel and his assistant worked on a day off to accommodate our schedule. What a breath of fresh air it was to deal with a company that truly understands customer service!

Year 2000 called and asked for its online shopping experience back!

Trying to order a printer from this company turned out to be a massive hassle and an ultimate waste of time.
At first my online order got confirmed and the order amount was taken from the debit card. Then the next day I received an email telling me that the printer is out of stock and my order is canceled.

What the company told me is that it only updates it stock levels overnight, so there's no guarantee that the item you're trying to order is actually available. I find it beyond belief that an online shop can still operate like that in 2020, when integrated inventory solutions and ERP software are widely available and have been in existence for ages.

I received the money back in my account only after a couple of days, which further added to the hassle.

A couple of additional side notes:

- For whatever reason, website is very slow and feels clunky - took ages to place an order
- Communication from the firm re cancelled order, which had started off merely lukewarm, quickly took on passive-aggressive undertones, which struck me as being out place in that particular situation. That is something which perhaps isn't easy to fix as an outdated software, but is still worth trying!

I have looked into this and I understand that we ran out of stock of the item you had ordered so we contacted you as soon as possible to let you know and issued an immediate full refund.
Unfortunately due to the current situation with coronavirus, printers are in very high demand for home working and stock of popular models sells out very quickly. We fulfil orders on a first come first served basis, and on rare occasions it can happen that we run out of stock before we can complete all orders. We understand the disappointment and again we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

First class service during lock-down.

Ordered several items during "lock-down" including a projector - all delivered in a timely and professional manner. Dealt with Jennifer who could not have been more helpful going above and beyond to satisfy my queries. I would highly recommend using these guys.

Great work!

Came to do my install this past Sunday. The guys were courteous, professional and knowledgeable. The completed the job in no time and provided me with all the accessories I needed. The whole process was quite satisfactory and I would recommend them without hesitation, to anyone! Great work guys!

Good Experience

Our projector at the rugby club needed a new bulb so I called them and got one at a good price. It arrived the next day as they promised so I'm really happy.

returns policy

Av experts delivered my item promptly whist I was seconded working abroad. Upon my return I reviewed the item which was not suitable for purpose. I was informed that despite the item being perfectly re-sellable they would not accept a return because it was outside the 7 days. 7 days is fine for people who work 9-5 week days but many don't and i feel this is very restrictive. Poor customer service in my opinion.

Fast delivery, Great Prices

I bought a projector and screen for my church. I called av experts for advice and we discussed the options. AV experts were very helpful as I didn't know where to start. They talked me through the basics and gave me advice on where to place the projector and the screen. Everything arrived the next day and I must say I'm delighted. I will use them again.

Good price, great service

I found this website on google shopping when I was looking for a projector. The price was good but I'd never heard of the company before so I gave them a call. The nice lady I talked to was able to answer all my questions and confirmed the projector I'd picked was ok for my use.
I ordered online with free delivery and although I was expecting delivery within 5 days, the projector turned up the next day which was great.
I have sent them a couple of emails since, with questions about the projector and they have replied quickly and been quite helpful.
I've been very happy with the service I received and I would order from them again in the future.

They take your money with no intention of sending the goods.

So I have to re-write this review... maybe I will rewrite it next week. So an honest review has to be replaced with a one-sided point.

They take your money with no intention of sending the goods. It took nearly 2 weeks to get my money back. And yet the website continued to show the item "in stock"

We had some stock of the item you ordered on a very good offer and unfortunately stock ran out before we could fulfill all the orders placed that day. We therefore tried to secure more stock for customers who had missed out.
The manufacturer promised stock within two weeks so we contacted you immediately to ask whether you would like to cancel your order for a full refund or if you would like to wait for more stock at the low price.

You asked us to keep the order on and wait for more stock.

Sadly the delivery was then cancelled by the manufacturer and we have had to disappoint some customers which is not a decision we take lightly.
We refunded your payment immediately after the delivery was cancelled by the manufacturer and offered a small gesture to make up for the inconvenience.

We can assure you that normally orders are delivered quickly and we always try to offer the best service possible so we are sorry that on this occasion we did not deliver as expected.

Take your money, say they don't have it in stock while website shows otherwise.

They had an extremely good offer on monitor that I was interested in so I though ok I will take the plunge. Website shown 5 in stock when I was ordering. I ordered 2 as I am using two monitor setup.
Couple of days later received e-mail sorry we do not have it in stock (website still showing in stock) and they should have it one or two weeks later.

I told them I can wait. The price changed to normal one and website for over a week still show that they have 2 in stock (same amount I ordered).

Today I get an e-mail sorry we have none we have to cancel your order (website still showing 2 in stock).

Very disappointed. If it was misprice just say it and I can understand.
Otherwise I see no justification for that sort of actions from the company (especially that all the times their website still show the monitors are in stock ready for delivery - of course price is higher now).

If it is a deal - AVOID. If it is normal price - well there are more trusted companies to deal with.

(With regards to AV-Experts response - you either do not accept more orders than you can fulfill or you sell at loss to maintain good customer relationships. I work in a company as well and more than once we sold or provided service at a loss to maintain good customer relationship. Apart from monitors I have been looking at Display Port cables for them - have the order been fulfilled I would buy the cables from the company as well. Since that did not happen - I will shop both for the monitors and cables elsewhere.)

My One Stop Shop for all things AV! Absolutely Brilliant!

Fantasic Service by the team at AV-Experts.

The sales team were very helpful, replying almost instantly to my geeky technical presale questions!

They clearly demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the product I was interested in and expediated my order so I could have it for Monday.

A lot of people claim to be 'Experts' but these guys really do know what they're talking about! I took a gamble and it paid off. You have nothing to lose!

The box arrived in immaculate condition, well labelled and delivered on time.

I couldn't be more happy with the service. I used to worry about buying expensive AV- products online, but after a casual jaunt around London the other weekend I noticed not even the finest London shops had stock of the products AV-Experts had in their stockroom.

I enquired on a Friday morning, by the late afternoon it was on it's way to me.
That's what I call a brilliant service!

Best of all AV-Experts combine the efficiency of modern online retailers with the personal shopping experience of the local electronics store. A perfect match.

Will never go to a High Street Retailer again!
