These people are the worst scammers I have ever dealt with.

I received an invoice (#162147) from Ava Hosting that was due by the 19th. I paid it on the 20th – I paid, didn't I? Normally, the invoice should either no longer be valid, OR my server should have been restored.

But what do they do? After I paid, I check my dashboard – my server is DEACTIVATED. I paid for a full month and I get NO server.

I contact support and ask if I can at least get a NEW server – it only costs 5€. I already paid, so I am entitled to a full month. But no – this is what they say:

"Pay 20€ for reactivation + VPS package."

WHAT THE F***?! I already paid! You took my money, but my server is offline. Instead of simply turning it back on or giving me a new one, you try to squeeze even more money out of me.

THIS IS FRAUD!

You take money for a service you don't deliver. Then you demand more money to restore the service I already paid for.

If you are reading this: DO NOT BUY FROM AVA HOSTING. They will take your money and leave you with nothing. Then they will try to scam you for more.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Terrible quality, it's impossible to use the VPS properly.
Within a month, there have already been two outages: once the server rebooted automatically, and the second time everything slowed down drastically. Several applications crashed, forcing me to reboot the server manually, after which it struggled to boot up properly.
On top of that, there are regular network issues—the connection drops every half hour to an hour.
This is absolutely not suitable for anything even remotely serious.

Bought VPS - it didn't boot. Support answered after 12 hours - it booted up. Rebooted via ssh - it wouldn't boot up.

They basically sell more capacity then they have, if you're lucky you get to use what you paid fore. If it's busy hours? Tough luck.

Basically a scam, not a legitimate business.

I buy vps and they change password account and dont answer me

I paid for a VPS at Ava Hosting for a full month. After the payment was completed, my server was suspended without any prior warning.

The reason was an abuse report from an external provider (Hetzner) about a network scan from my IP. I admitted the mistake, explained that it was caused by my inexperience (a syntax error with a scanning tool), and provided a detailed statement of what happened and how I would prevent it in the future.

Ava Hosting did not give me any chance to fix the issue. They refused to reactivate the service, even though I had already paid for the entire month. No refund was offered.

I understand that providers need to enforce their terms, but suspending a paying customer without a warning or a single chance to correct the issue is not customer-friendly. This experience cost me time and money, and I cannot recommend this host to anyone who values fair treatment.

If you are learning or testing security tools, avoid this provider – they will suspend you immediately and keep your money.

I decided to try out their $5.88 VPS, but honestly, it’s been a total waste of money.

Here’s the deal:

The Network is a mess: The ping is all over the place. It spikes randomly depending on the IP you're reaching, making the connection super unstable.

Weak Hardware: The CPU/Kernel performance is a joke. The server lags during the simplest tasks. It’s so weak it can’t even handle a basic WireGuard setup without choking.

Support is useless: When I reached out for help, they just gave me the runaround instead of actually fixing anything. They clearly don't care about solving technical issues.

Bottom line: Don't let the price tag fool you. The performance is bottom-tier and the support is non-existent. Save your cash and go somewhere else.

Sorry but this is one of the worst i've used. The Network connection is inconsistent. Sometimes the Connection is fine but then the other moment its ass. I know sometimes it can happen but all the time? Happened to me now some times here and there using it since the 04.03. and bought a VPS on there. I don't recommend it.

Not sure why there is a lot of bad reviews.
I have been using Avahosting over a year and have had nothing but a great experience. They always have great support and never have any downtime.

Great host with great support, and fast ticket responses.

Would recommend to anybody who needs a good good host, with cheap prices. For anybody who gets discouraged from other reviews, I would say give them a shot yourself!

They will suspend your VPS claiming spam without any proof; it's a scam. Stay away from Ava Host and Alex Host.

very poor services

My server was inexplicably suspended due to spam, and they didn't even offer me a data recovery option. This is the worst data center I've ever seen. Please don't buy from them. Their domain is my.ava.hosting. I asked to pay to restore my data or purchase a new IP to restore my service, but they refused.

They are scam artist. They suspended my vps and for dmca complain. But they advertise on social media they aKa alexhost.com ignore dmca, but in reality they does not. This ava.hosting AKA alexhost.com if fraudsters. Avoid. I complain paypal to take legal action.

I had both a VPS and shared web hosting with them.

Regarding the web hosting, I encountered an issue where the mail server was flagged as SPAM. This was apparently because another customer was using the same mail server to send spam, which caused my emails to be marked as spam as well. I asked them to investigate, but they simply suggested I upgrade to private hosting.

Anyway, moving on to the VPS, it had been working fine until they suspended it for spamming. They didn't even notify me about the suspension; instead, they sent me an invoice for the following months. I paid it, mistakenly believing the suspension was due to a late payment (which it wasn't).

After paying, the VPS remained suspended. When I inquired, they informed me it had been flagged for spamming. Consequently, I requested a refund for the invoice I had just paid for the upcoming months.

They refused to issue a refund.

I opened a case with PayPal and received an instant refund.

Avoid dealing with these scammers.
