Amazing massage with Chris

I had an amazing massage with Chris. He incorporated Chinese massage into the session, which I had never had before. It really loosened the knots in my back. Overall, it was an awesome experience with a skilled practitioner.

Awful company

Ordered the BeCurly shampoo (most expensive I've ever bought). It wasn't gre

Impossible to return because they never sent a confirmation email so I didn't get an order number.

There is no contact email and the link to go to Live Chat is broken. I will not use this brand again.

Excellent

I placed an order that unfortunately didn't arrive thanks to the courier. Customer Service were excellent and I had an replacement order sent out within days. Lovely products too.

Steer clear to save your sanity and your wallet.

Frustrating Customer Service Saga. Placed an order on their website Saturday night. Order confirmation arrives, wrong address! It's my outdated one, despite updating my default. Rushed to contact their customer service via WhatsApp, but got ghosted until Sunday. The order's still pending, yet they're helpless? Their advice: redirect the package myself from England to Scotland - absurd! Requested a cancellation, hit a brick wall. Here's the kicker: I purchased their membership in that very order. Will I use it? I don't think so. Monday's here, the order's in limbo, unchangeable, uncancellable. Absurdity at its finest. A word of advice: steer clear to save your sanity and your wallet.

Online order disaster

I made a purchase online following the closure of my Aveda hair salon, however 2 weeks & nothing arrived, I contacted Customer Service who said the order had been lost by the delivery company, did I want a replacement or refund
I asked for a refund which took a further two weeks & did not include the postage
I emailed & their reply was be patient
I will not be purchasing online again

AVEDA please bring back the camomile shampoo!!

I’ve ordered from this company several times now, and found the delivery quite quick, but the live chat is hopeless!
I’ve been asking for a while for them to bring back the camomile shampoo, and they don’t care, they just fob you off.
This company doesn’t care about what the customers want!

Why I don’t buy from their website direct now after almost 10 years of doing so

Been ordering from Aveda website direct for nearly ten years partly because of the reward scheme and partly because of their offers. But these have all gone worse now and have started to buy the same products from other retailers instead, main reason being,

- Policy which if the free samples or gift run out , they simply won’t send to you, won’t provide substitute and wont even bother telling you unless you ask customer service. Many customers buy from them because of these free gifts, which without them is not really a good deal compare to other retailers

- As soon as I nearly saved up enough points to the top reward ( which took years) they scraped the Antigua hotel reward.

- Recently the other top reward which is hotel stay at Lake District also got the free spa treatment taken out and changed to 20% off spa treatment instead. (And this is only in the small prints).

- their offers are not as good as the past, less discount, less free gifts, not competitive to other retailers

- And when they have good offers, they are usually overwhelmed by amount of orders and have slower than normal dispatch time, and usually won’t give out all the free samples as promised because they run out

- 1 litre shampoo and conditioner don’t come with pump anymore, they expect people to use their old one forever under the disguise of being “green”. A litre can usually last me a year and a half and it’s NOT hygienic to keep the same pump forever, it will break at some point anyway they are not designed for a lifetime. Using a 1 litre bottle without pump can really hurt your wrist if you have weak wrist like me.

- Used to be free delivery for all orders now only for £40 or above. ( free delivery min. Order from other retailers are usually less)

There’s no incentive to save for their top rewards anymore and their deals are not competitive. I however still give them 2 instead of 1 stars because the quality of their products are still good. Well done to their laboratory team not so to the Marketing team.

Wish I had read these reviews before…

Wish I had read these reviews before ordering! Ordered during a promotion with free gifts, and like a customer previously didn't receive them as terms and conditions subject to availability. Shocking service, customer service do not care. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

There are other organic brands just avoid this one

I repurchased a blowout brush and hair product set after my brush was stolen from me.

Then after it had been dispatched was emailed to say that I hadn’t been charged and it was out of stock.

Honestly, it’s not okay and I don’t want to shop with Aveda again. Bye!

Dreadful customer service. Avoid this company

This company does not value its customers. I placed an order in November 2022 and when it arrived the shampoo had leaked all over the parcel. I contacted Aveda UK to report the problem and was fobbed off with several auto-replies, I never once received any acknowledgment from them that the problem was taken seriously. I paid for a full-size product and received half of it. And to add insult to injury I had to clean up the mess from their sloppy packaging. Ridiculous! I'll never buy from them again.

Cannot contact customer services

I love Aveda products and have used them for many years. I don’t always buy straight from the website but I recently have. I purchased in November and have still not received my shampoo. What’s bad is that it’s really hard to contact customer services. I have called, sent a tweet and messaged on Instagram - I’ve had nothing back! No email address that I can find. Really appalling. I just want my money back but goodness knows how I’m going to do that! Very poor ( both them and me!!) .

Don’t trust their promotion offer

Don’t trust their promotion offer. I bought their products during the Black Friday promotion with 4 reward gifts. I only received 1 gift. Their customer service just mentioned that “all offers are subject to availability while stocks last”. In other words, you won’t know whether you will receive a gift when you place an order even the gifts are added in the order successfully. It’s like a scam. Avoid buying from this company.

Nothing delivered and its been 10…

Nothing delivered and its been 10 days!! You cant talk to a human when something goes wrong. Their delivery company Evri says you have to wait 7 days to report an issue then they say you have to contact the company you bought it from! Then you contact Aveda and they tell you a response from them can take up to 72 hours. I just want a refund. Im so fed up. How can a big brand name company care so little about customer service?

Disappointing reward scheme

Like a previous reviewer I joined the reward scheme many years ago and have been saving my points up. At one point some years ago I was close to achieving the Ultimate Aveda Experience but seems they have moved the goal posts. I've got really fed up with it and was going to use the rewards on products instead, but the (nutriplenish and/or blonde hair) products I want are not available as rewards! I don't want a stupid paddle brush with plastic bristles when I have a pure boar bristle Mason Pearson brush that cost me over £100! LOL
Feeling very cheated.

Takes your money but not your order!

My other half asked me to place an order with Aveda as she was having trouble with their web site. Like others I should have checked the reviews here! They have debited my credit card three times and not taken the order. I've given them until 8:00pm to get it sorted, otherwise I'm going to the credit card company to get a refund.
