A wonderful, memory-filled experience of China!
From the moment of booking our trip to China to the day we were returning home full of wonderful memories, the people of Asia Vacations Group - both in Australia and on tour through China - were friendly, informative and very helpful whenever any difficulty or issue arose (for example, responding quickly when some flights were cancelled, and replacement flights needed to be organised). The people of China were a delight to engage with, and the tour was filled with many highlights, providing insights into the historical, cultural and contemporary evolution of China. A wonderful experience!

Borneo Tour needs upgrading
Ok this is a constructive email about your 10 day tour of Borneo . Day 1 all ok and arrive at the hotel which is good. Day 2 boat trip to Gaya Island and jungle trek. This is so dangerous especially when you have a group that the average age is 70 plus. One slip and someone can get hurt badly so i suggest you take this trek off your tour. Day 3 a long way to travel there and back and not to many highlights. Day 4 flight to Sandakan and hotel . Sabah hotel good. Day 5 tour of
Sandakan ok . Day 5 trip and overnight stay on Libaran Island in a tent. Nothing on the island total waste of time and this was changed from first itinery suggest change it back. Day 7 and the best day of the tour seeing the orang- utans , suggest you also include a visit to the Sun Bear conservation as well. On to Borneo Nature Lodge and and river cruises for the next 2 days, highlight of the tour . Last day drop of at airport.

I recently completed a 10 day China…
I recently completed a 10 day China holiday through AVG.
Organisation for the holiday was trouble free, with clear online and phone communication.
The holiday went very well with AVG tour guides Lily from Beijing and her photographic assistant providing invaluable personal assistance with phone communication problems and taxi transport.
and also with Lulu from Guangzhou, providing personal assistance and advice.
Their comprehensive local knowledge of China, was delivered clearly and with humour!
Accommodation and transport were all first class.
despite the budget holiday price.
Cannot recommend this holiday enough, especially to those who need to update their 'old world' view of China.

Warning, dishonest company
The accommodation was way below expectations. As for the so called “ Nha Trang Beach Break” although in writing it would be beachfront our accommodation was not near the beach, other accommodations were down graded once they had our money.
AVG initially admitted error, then backflipped and denied all responsibility leaving us no choice but to find beach front accommodation at our cost or waste flights. I have emailed AVG, 2 September, demanding answers, as of 19 September they have not responded .
