Ouch. Again, I see that if I had read the TrustPilot reviews first, I wouldn't have used you. My error. We have been trying to get hold of someone from accounts (or anyone) about being overcharged... See more

Problem after problem after problem. As a business - just don't bother, as you will lose money and all your brand value.
NOTHING WORKS - FROM BIG THINGS LIKE HAVING DECENT PARTNERS TO BEING ABLE TO PASSWORD RESETS.
Please really listen to me - don't bother

I've had so many issues with AWIN that I can't be bothered to recall them all. They should not be charging customers any monthly fee when their system works so poorly.

Another review from me. Like other reviewers, I find the payment duration with AWIN to be unacceptable and extremely inconsistent.
In my experience, payments can sit in the approved & uncleared status for several months. While each advertiser has an average payment time (e.g., 90 days for X advertiser), I've had to wait much longer on MULTIPLE occasions for the balance to transition to the approved and cleared status.
Adding to the frustration, the majority of advertisers don't respond to general enquiries. The only ones that do are managed by an external PR agency or have a direct contact to the affiliate manager of that company.
Comparing Awin to affiliate platforms like Rakuten LinkShare, where payments are timely and communication is great, the difference is stark.
There seems to be very little respect on this platform for publishers.

The payment process is a nightmare for non-US publishers to the point that I had to look up multiple times if this network was even legit. It feels more like a scam. The payment date is nowhere near what they make it seem. It turns out they can cancel payment dates as well. It's been two weeks since I was approved for a payment. And I'm now informed that my payment date is postponed again. Literally no system to payment schedule whatsoever! I'm partners with other networks as well and this is the first time I'm experiencing something like this. Stay away!

Having a terrible experience - they took a £500 deposit in 2021 and still haven't had returned (now Feb 2024!) - I won't give up, but you need to know what you are dealing with! So difficult to get hold of and if you do manage to get a response, nothing is follwed up - disaster

Sadly communication with Awin is distorted, they are hardly available and it takes too long to any response back. The problem still outstanding since November 2023, a couple of emails here and there but no one is available to discuss and solve the problem.

Since my previous review, Awin has been fantastic in helping resolve our problems with commission groups, especially Aliya (Support Analyst). There is still a minor niggle, but we're nearly there.

Support request never get answered. I sent it in June. Absolutely nothing happened since then. See also other comments.

Sadly I have been left with no option but to leave a review here.
I have tried to contact Awin on several occasions with a query about 2 VERY unusual and high payments that have been taken from my account.
I haven't had any response and am extremely worried about the monies that have been taken and how this can be rectified.
Very poor/ no support for advertisers on this platform - beware

Reply from Awin
Straight up awful,
Not only is the platform inconsistent - the support for it is completely non-existent. Live chat is never online, responses to queries take 2 weeks, which is usually some generic response stating a policy or article link. When you reply for more information or specificity, you have to wait another 2 weeks!
You can up the commision by an unlimited amount, but if you want to drop it, then you can only do so by a maximum of 20% (of the percentage not the number).
Performance fluctuates dramatically and we have dropped a significant percentage in 12 months with absolutely zero impactful changes, basic explanations with no real help.
If our selected partners didn't require AWIN I would close the account in a heartbeat.
There needs to be a better competitor.

Everything was going great, but after changing our main domain name in the account and making a lot of sales, our account was suddenly banned with the reason being 'not updating information' As a result, all commissions of ~$3,000+ have lost. And remember, nobody will speak with you after the block, and nobody will tell you the reason for the blocking.
UPDATE: Some other guy tells awin that my account is fake. AWIN PROVIDE TO THIS GUY ALL MY PERSONAL INFO INCLUDING IP ADRESS AND COMISSIONS PAID

AVOID - one of the worst online platforms I've ever used.
1. there is no support. If you have an issue you have to email, you are then given links to their help page to decipher this yourself. I guess your subscription fee doesn't go towards training staff on how to use the platform.
2. I did find a contact number but you are directed to an email.
3. antiquated platform.
4. Many spam accounts and coupon code website.
5. Little legitimate publishers.
6. Tried to cancel my account, very little info on how to do this, again have been directed to send an email where they advised I will get a response in a few days. Mean while my brand is being tarnished across any spam website that applies to my program because there's a glitch on my account.
I have spent two weeks trying to set this up, don't waste your time go else where.

This was the first time we had contacted Awin and we were very pleased with the level of service and support they provided. In particular, I wanted to highlight the exceptional assistance we received from Awin's Partner Compliance Team.
We recently encountered an issue with one of Awin's publishers, and the efficiency and professionalism displayed by Awin's Partner Compliance Team in resolving this matter were truly remarkable. From the moment we reached out to them, they were prompt and responsive, ensuring that our concerns were addressed swiftly.
The Partner Compliance Team took our concerns seriously and conducted a thorough investigation into the issue and resolved the problem to our satisfaction. Their commitment to upholding quality and ensuring compliance was evident throughout the process.

Business Boteane: I’ve been using the platform for two weeks and here are the issues I’ve experienced so far:
Antiquated tools for promotion: The tools available to help collaborate with potential partners are so old that user interfaces don’t feature these elements anymore. You'd think it's a site from a bygone era.
Antiquated help references: User help has not been updated for years and is useless. One has an old Nokia phone in its images for example. It's like trying to navigate the digital dark ages.
Impenetrable word-heavy help: When there is relevant help, it's written in a way that only people who have developed and worked on the platform can understand. It's like trying to read a foreign language.
Need to upgrade and pay for help: The website experience is so poor that users need help, but rather than make the experience better, AWIN charges to “help” you navigate the interface because it's so bad. See: Reach Package
Outdated and invalid listings: Many publishers listed have expired websites and blogs; information is not valid or has expired but is still listed. It's like shopping in a store with empty shelves.
Time-consuming partner search: There is no taxonomy to help search and filter affiliates in any meaningful way that can help you match and target key demographics or key audiences. You have to scroll endlessly, wasting precious time.
Constantly logging in: There are inadequate cookies/ID tokens associated with the site, and if you use the back navigation, you are asked to log back in every time and have to begin your journey again. It's like walking in circles.
Random language changes: When using the platform, one minute it is in the correct language, the next, it's in whatever the platform decides it wants to be in. You have to navigate to your account area to reset the language regularly.
In summary, my two weeks on AWIN have been an exercise in frustration and disappointment. The platform's outdated tools, unhelpful references, and constant need to log in are not only inconvenient but also severely impact productivity. It's time for AWIN to enter the modern age and provide a user-friendly experience for its members. (I tried to link to evidence however, Trustpilot does not allow links in reviews)

Non-Responsive Support & Didn't Work for Us
Signing up to Awin was an expensive mistake for us. I asked them to stop and had some back and forth about the service or lack of, but they kept charging me. Then they told me that I have to give a subsequent one month notice by email. So they got another month of charges out of me. Such an expensive mistake for us. Maybe this works for others, but not for us. I did see review below about having less clients within the database than they promote in their marketing. After I thought I had seen the last of them, 6 months later they contacting me again for unpaid invoices during that end period which they hadn't told me about at the time. I responded that we will pay any outstanding and just wanted more info on previous payments for my accounts. But that was ignored. Sent the same email every few days but all ignored. Now a second demand has arrived with a 5-day to pay demand before legal action, as if I had ignored the previous demand. Their idea of accounting support is to ignore you. No point emailing back. I have also tried ringing a number of times but only get an answerphone... what is the point of putting a telephone number on your paperwork if it is never answered and nobody calls you back. Their idea of customer support seems to be just to respond to complaints on review sites, hoping that that is enough for them to appear responsible. This is not customer support. Should be doing this before it reaches the complaint stage.

Terrible support (not responding for 5 days, not fixing issues); the new reporting is barely working. Poor affiliates. Very expensive. Definitely not recommending this network for advertisers.

Reply from Awin
it's a scam they charge you money for "verification" non refundable and you never hear back from them again.

Our company signed up to AWIN two years ago. I have been trying to speak with someone for a very long time to review our contract as the "affiliates" they have are all discount code driven affiliates. Very few actual people.
I have been working on trying to speak with someone for over a month and have now been told the account manager is traveling. Beware of your contract with them.

What a complete joke! I saw other reviews regarding the error signing up as I have encountered. Don't waste time and go to a more reputable platform!
