The team at Axminster are truly customer centric. I had an issue with one of the two packages not arriving due to the courier company and Tony at Axminster was following up daily. Nevertheless I ended up returning the item due to tight timescales I was working to with my tradesmen, and ended up hiring a unit. Tony offered his full support and arranged to return the items for a full refund.

Dads birthday gift
What I liked about this is they asked for proof of ID to buy the products. So many places don’t when buying knifes/sharp tools.
The actual products I bought were a gift for my dad’s birthday so I assume that they are great, he’s not complaining-bonus.

Ordered an accessory for my C0 lathe
Ordered an accessory for my C0 lathe. Told it would be 2 days delivery. Ordered over weekend so expected Wednesday (2 days delivery). Wednesday came, nothing, no package no phone call or text. Thursday the same! Rang customer support Friday and at lunch time customer support Rang back to say it would be delivered in next 48 hours.. waited 72 hours and again same as before, nothing. Rang and cancelled the order. Don't bother to buy Axminster tools go for Clarke instead. My Axminster lathe is for sale. If you can't get accessories easily and promptly Axminster tools are not worth buying

Delivery is usually 2-3 days from the date of despatch and we work very closely with all of the carrier companies that we use to make sure that they are received within this time frame.

Late delivery and uncontactable customer support
I ordered two tools for a next day (Friday) delivery for a weekend job.
The tools didnt arrive until the following Monday with no communication about the late delivery.
Neither Axminster or the courier were available on Saturday morning to update me.
