Yep they got me too the gullible tourist the same modus operandi, ripped of big time and I thought I was street wise. Hope the nasty persons chickens grow into emus and kick his dunny down.
I was scammed by this shop New Age Camera in Chinatown, San Francisco (827 Grant Avenue) in paying $700 for $100 worth of equipment, what a fool I feel! This pushy salesman, Tony, convinced me to purchase the Axpro 58mm 0.43X Pro"Lens" which he hiped up, even put it on my camera to demonstrate. He referred me to the "supposed" company Axpro website and showed me the said lens being sold for.. $970 (the whole website has massively inflated prices) and he.. supposedly made me a great offer at $700 including the polarized filter and the sales tax.. Of course, when I went home and had some time to carefully check the website, I saw zero contact details and an address in.. Scotland which leads to a place with no such company details.. What a fool I feel..
Don't make the same mistake I made and stay away from these people!!! You can buy similar lenses online for a fraction of the cost!!
Bad products, bad quality, the prices are really too high ! A 659$ lense is 35$ in reality !!!
Bought a AXPRO lens in a store in San Francisco. They referred to the rates on this website. I gave $ 824, but found out that a similar lens only cost $ 29. No possibility to return. Pure humbug!!!
Or anything related to the webside!!!!
