Sold a Dangerous, Unusable Forklift – Now Completely Ignoring Us
We purchased a forklift from AZ Motor and Machinery Ltd on 1 August 2025. From day one, the machine had multiple serious issues:
It struggled to start almost immediately after delivery
One of the wheels fell off, forcing us to buy new bolts just to keep it operational
It produced excessive smoke, making it unsafe to use indoors and clearly not health-and-safety compliant
And finally, within weeks, it stopped moving altogether
We reported the faults within 14 days, provided video evidence, and even had their mechanic inspect the machine, who confirmed there were problems. Despite multiple follow-ups, the seller has ignored every message since.
The situation has deteriorated so badly that we have now instructed solicitors to try to resolve this matter formally. This is not how a “fully working” machine should be sold, nor how a reputable business should treat its customers.
Avoid at all costs.
